Protur Bonamar Hotel - Adults Only

We stayed at end of October one week, Rooms we found basic for 4 star ,a rail between 2 walls as a wardrobe toilet and shower a glass shelter so if with a friend bit much going loo etc. Victoria receptionist brilliant Bar staff brilliant entertainment acts very good, We had a big fella threaten us on Saturday night, subsequently he was kicked out of hotel and sent home. What my problem was no security in hotel (11.30pm) only a poor young lad on reception Bar staff had gone 11.15 The bloke who was massive could have wrecked the place ? Next day we had conversations with tui rep, Victoria who said they would report. But what I couldn't believe Natalie (entertainment ) or management never spoke to us asked if we were ok etc next day. My wife and other guest lady were shaken Very poor

Just got back and enjoyed it as much as we did when we visited this hotel two years ago. The hotel is spotless, plenty of sunbeds to choose from at any time of day. The staff are amazing. Manu, Miguel and Abdullah are excellent waiters, always with a smile. Natalie as ever was fantastic. She made the holiday for us with games and quizzes and a laugh as always. Never too much trouble and always checked if we were having a good time. Her sayings are memorable lol! The entertainment every night was very good as was the bingo. The hotel is situated right on the sea front with a short walk to the shops, restaurants and bars. A very relaxing time was had. Highly recommend.

This hotel is really good , all areas spotless , rooms are modern with fridge and kettle tea and coffee , staff are all without exception brilliant , Victoria on reception was particularly helpful to us , food was of a good standard with a wide variety of choice to suit most tastes , plenty of sun beds and others areas to relax a very nice roof terrace with infinity pool and very quiet , the position is central with beautiful views across the sea , we stayed in a standard side sea view room but it was on the side that over looked a quiet side road , would have preferred other side overlooking pool but we did get afternoon sun so depends what you prefer , the entertainment seemed average we went out most nights all in all wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

This is the best four star hotel we have stayed in over the last few years. It was spotlessly clean and the food was very good with plenty of choice. Always easy to get a sun bed and the hotel is ideally located overlooking the sea with everything within walking distance. The hotel’s greatest asset is their staff, all of whom were efficient, helpful and always had a smile for you, especially Victoria on Reception. We will definitely return soon.

We love this hotel just keep coming as everyone else has said the staff really make this hotel the bar staff restaurant staff and let’s not forget the desk girls especially Victoria . This visit to the Bonamar was spoilt but it was not the fault of any of the staff there was quite a serious plumbing fault but the girls on the desk did everything they could . But some guests were terrible when they were complaining at the desk this problem was not a simple one to solve wether some of them have never been before were the ones making negative comments like it’s a rubbish hotel and never coming again there loss. We will be back next year hope restaurant can Natalie’s favourite sausage back .

Just returned from another repeat visit to this hotel. All of the staff are excellent and look after you throughout your stay. Natalie as always manages the entertainment programme extremely well and makes sure you are having a good time.Victoria on reception does a great job and goes the extra mile. The restaurant and bar staff all work extremely hard. There is a good choice of food but some evenings were better than others. Overall the hotel facilities are very good and bar prices reasonable. We had a problem with the shower hot water pressure on a few days during our stay which was not ideal. The wifi signal can be patchy around the pool area but worked well in our room. A fair TA rating would be 4.5 and I would be happy to give the hotel a 5 (excellent) had the shower been reliable and the wifi consistant. Overall this is a good hotel and I look forward to returning next year.
