Town View Hotel

First time stayed in this hotel and my impression was Unfortunately very bad due: - no tualet paper -no towel - not clean -we have staywd 4 nights and Could not sleep well due to mosqitoe Plus very poor breakfast. In fact there is no any services

If you are considering booking this hotel and you have arrived at this review, take my advice and find somewhere else, but do not stay here under any circumstances. We arrived in Cairo very late at night and it was practically impossible to find the entrance to the hotel. "Entrance" to call it something, because you have to go into a passageway and you arrive at a doorway that is filthy, old and where a homeless man sleeps in the stairwell. It is impossible to go up to the hotel because the stairs are a dump. LITERALLY. You can see from the photos what I mean. The lift is like a scary movie, dirty, half of the doors have no glass and it is built on the outside of the building and has no wall. When we arrived at the hotel, they made us pay in cash because they did not want to accept payment by credit card and we had to go, almost at one in the morning, to make a withdrawal at an ATM. The room we were given was not one of the beautiful rooms with new parquet floors shown on the website. It was a three-bed room, dirty, with a smashed floor and furniture and a filthy bathroom with a mouldy ceiling. We spoke to reception and told them that this was not the room we had booked and they told us to come the next day and they would change our room. When we went the next day, we were told that it was already late and there were no more rooms available. Besides all this, the breakfast is very poor, the wifi doesn't work at all and there is music and lots of people making noise in the cafe all day long. In short, the hotel is terrible and overpriced for the dump it is. I don't understand how Booking allows this type of establishment on their website. Also, if you look at the reviews, many of them have the same profile picture and the same name, but different country, so they are fake. I insist: DO NOT STAY THERE.
