Iberostar Selection Ensenachos

Amazing private villa. Excellent food! 5 star service. Beautiful beaches. Thank you to all the staff! Especially Hector, Yuniely, Diana and Yandry! Honestly all the staff make your day enjoyable and give 100 percent. We have been 2 times and highly recommend this resort!

Nous y avons séjourné (deux couples) du 10 au 24 mars. Tout était parfait, les duplex incluant le spa étaient propres et en bon état. La chaleur des cubains combinée à la chaude température de l’air et de l’eau ont rendu notre séjour de mars 2025 très confortable! Le service et la nourriture étaient en abondance. Les personnes aux cuisines et au service multiplient les efforts et font preuve d’imagination constante pour répondre à tous nos besoins. Le directeur (Khalid) était toujours présent pour s’assurer (en français) de la satisfaction de notre séjour. La piscine et la plage sont bien organisées. Le personnel s’occupe de nos trouver notre endroit préféré. Les musiciens et leur musique cubaine sont de niveau professionnel et très généreux! À l’accueil, lorsque nous arrivons à une heure tardive, il devrait y avoir une formule de pré enregistrement pour faciliter notre arrivée. We just got back from our first time in Cuba. We opted to stay at the Iberostar Ensenachos Coral Level and if I am honest, I set my expectations very low and knew it was the beaches I wanted to see. After seeing some pictures of the food, I was a little concerned that I would struggle like I did in the DR as I am an extremely fussy eater and really don’t eat a lot of meat of any kind. Once I posted a simple question just asking if they had pasta, my experience with Cuba and the Cuban people began. I was pleasantly surprised that a customer service rep by the name of Sulay reached out to me. Ensuring that not only would they have food options but that they will ensure my stay will be enjoyable. Sulay then provided me pictures of the buffet to show the options that I would have. She even followed up on my stay after we arrived to ensure we were enjoying ourselves or if there was anything we needed. We arrived at the Coral, wanting to experience a small resort and low key for much needed relaxation. The greeting we received from the butlers Michel and Dismar with others was friendly, informative, and helpful. We arrived at our villa and pleasantly surprised at the size, cleanliness, and most of all the view and privacy. Dated doesn’t bother me if it is clean. We took the time to walk the grounds to see what we saw in the you tube videos, and it didn’t disappoint. Well manicured by the gardeners always hard at work. The resort is small with access to the selection side and realistically I was a little hesitant the first couple days as I found it was much quieter than I initially expected. But by day 3, I was eating great, never hungry and I brought snacks just incase. We started to get to know the staff. Alberto and Anier our pool side bartenders had amazing service, Alberto the pool maintenance person always on hand if we needed anything and the waiter/waitresses (so many to name) always checking if we needed anything. I can say I understand now when people say why they love Cuba. Not just the beaches but the hardworking people who quickly turn friends. Don’t forget to take a stop at the little hidden bar in between to the two resorts as the bartender there was amazing as well. The Iberostar Ensenachos is top notch because of their employees. My villa was always spotless, including the floors being washed, with something decorative on the bed and a friendly note. Without going into detail, I strongly feel the staff went over and above for our first time experience which has only ensured that we will return. I’ve never experienced service all around like this before. My suggestion for the resort would be to eliminate the dinner reservations. People eat at all different times, and I am sure won’t mind waiting a bit if a seat is not available. I personally do not like being held to a time and rather wait if I go at a busier time. My review is noted in the picture section in two parts. We love Cuba and have been there 35x The Coral section needs management to step up to make this gem a highly sought after resort we once loved. We won’t be back until management gets the message that this resort as it is presently is NOT 5 STAR !

This was our second trip to the resort in 2024, and it didn’t disappoint! We returned with cousins, and the laid-back, boutique-style feel, the beach, returning guests and the amazing staff made it an unforgettable stay. The palapas and shade are plentiful, and it’s just the perfect short walk to the water – about 40-50 feet depending on the tide. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable with great beds and pillows. While the resort is a bit older and has some wear and tear, it’s still very well-maintained. Cuba's current challenges with food and supplies are evident, but the team does their best with what they have. The food is simple but satisfying, and if you’re not too picky, you’ll find something to enjoy. I was gluten-free and had no issues at all. A great surprise was the excellent selection of higher-end alcohol, and lots of Cava (Spanish champagne). The activity staff and servers were fantastic, and the live Cuban music added to the vibe. If you’re looking for a relaxed, authentic experience with great value for the price, this resort is a winner! The mix for cocktails was lacking – no Coke, and tonic and soda were very sparingly available. However, I was able to make do with sweet juices and water. It was a great reminder to live a little outside of your comfort zone and try something new! Internet is available near reception, but it’s not ideal for streaming like at home – great for unplugging and disconnecting. Tipping is expected and so appreciated, but remember – bills only and they need to be pristine!

Wonderful & charming boutique hotel ! This is our 8th visit ! Our Cuban friends are loving and caring. We appreciate their friendship over the years . We feel safe and cared for .
