Sebastian the manager was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious. Very peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be back!

Tranquil Although not close to many amenities- we managed very well without a car for 4 nights - used the local bus at the end of the road & Uber - hotel opposite has a bar & restaurant but equally happy to make a few meals. Pool was great, enjoyed the stay. Breakfast fabulous! Walked to Manzanillo & enjoyed the quiet beach.

Kañik and Sebastian are incredible! A paradise surrounded by nature, very clean and a lot of attention to detail is given by staff. We did not have a car and Sebastian took us one day to the Jaguar centre and called for us to arrange a shuttle. Every day the room and pool and outside is being cleaned thoroughly. The breakfast is amazing, especially sandwich coquette and carribean, fancy. It is easy to move around without a car, bus stop to Puerto Viejo and Cahuita right outside. Shorter rides we used Uber and we walked a lot on the beach both directions, very scenic and quiet. We had the pleasure also to meet Diego, Sebastian’s brother. You can tell they care about your experience and that you are comfortable. Our best memory of Costa Rica, thank you!

Komfortabele Unterkunft mit Dschungelfeeling Das Hotel bietet ein einmaliges Erlebnis inmitten des Dschungels. Sebastian war äußerst freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön gestaltet, und die Nähe zur Natur ist beeindruckend – täglich konnte man die Brüllaffen hören und mit etwas Glück auch beobachten. Besonders faszinierend war es, die grünen Aras direkt von der Unterkunft aus zu sehen. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig, mit vier Optionen zur Auswahl. Der Strand in der Nähe war wunderschön und nahezu unberührt, sodass man ihn oft fast für sich allein hatte. Die Apartments sind gut ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und einer kleinen Küchenzeile – alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war das wechselhafte Wasser und der laute Regen auf dem Blechdach, aber das gehört wohl zum Dschungel-Feeling dazu. Für uns war es der perfekte Einstieg in Costa Rica – absolut empfehlenswert!

Lindísimo lugar, las habitaciones super equipadas, la cama y las almohadas muy cómodas para dormir y muy buena presión en la ducha. Además las suites tienen una tina increíble y todas las habitaciones tienen un balconcito super cómodo para sentarse un rato a conversar. La playa está muy cerca y el hotel tiene paños y tumbonas en la playa bajo la sombra que podés usar. Los desayunos estuvieron deliciosos, me encantaron las tostadas con plátano maduro. Y lo que más destaco es la atención de Sebastián, de verdad que hizo de nuestra estadía una experiencia super bonita.

My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday and share special moments together, I’m so happy it was in Kañik. The facilities are new and in perfect condition, the beds are comfortable, the pillows are amazing. All rooms have great air-conditioning, a speaker, and a we’ll equip kitchen. Given that we were a big group, Sebastian (the host) accommodated our breakfast near the pool for us to eat together, although the norm is to have personalized service in each room’s private terrace. Did I mentioned that the food was amazing? Also, the hotel has a lounge area in the beach, which is only 200 meters walking from the hotel. I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area before, but by far this has been the best hotel and experience ever. I will continue to stay here in the future when visiting Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast.
