Atlantic Byron Bay

The Atlantic just exudes tropical tranquility! It’s a little oasis in the heart of Byron. The location is fantastic, everything is in walking distance. The property is kept so clean including the rooms. Thank you to all the staff and owners of Atlantic for such a beautiful, restful stay! Sad to hear you will be closing your doors this winter as you just nail it as ultimate hosts!

***** The Atlantic is quite boujee, with amazing detail wherever you look! The feel is so luxurious and super clean. Friendly staff who are to be applauded for this superb venue, that is so close to everything. To top it off, suite, bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. Our stay was too short, and we'll definitely be back again soon. *****

First of all I would say that this hotel is beautiful and well fitted out. The pool is lovely with fresh towels to hand. We stayed in room 3 near to reception and I'm afraid that it was the noisiest room that we have ever stayed in. There is a pumped system for the water supply and we had a terrible noise in our room every time a tap was switched on. So much so that we were aware of every toilet visit and the duration of showers and hand washing. The walls were paper thin and I don't believe that they had any insulation. There weren't any seals to the doors which rattled and we could hear all conversations in reception. It was suggested to me by reception that I may be a light sleeper and they weren't aware of any issue. We complained and we're moved to a room that was about two thirds the size of the first but still had the same issues with lack of any sound proofing. The room was clean and had all facilities though despite being small. I emailed the hotel prior to this review and after exchanging a few messages, the replies have dried up. On our trip we stayed in 12 hotels and this was the noisiest by far but ironically, one of the prettiest....

The Atlantic is nothing short of amazing. The communal areas are lovely, the rooms are immaculate and so so comfortable, the pool area immaculate and relaxing and it’s in such a great location to walk absolutely everywhere. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Atlantic Byron Bay. This boutique hotel surrounded by lovely tropical garden and pool. We loved the common area where equipped by full kitchen, fire place and spacious lounge area. It was nice to have a fire at the night time. Our room was modern but facing the street. We heard late night street noise during our weekend stay. There was no sitting area or kettle/mini bar in the room but we found easy enough to use the common facilities at the ground floor. The whole property was well maintained and clean. On site parking was busy and limited but we managed to secure a spot. Overall, we had a relaxing weekend. You can’t beat the central location with short distance to restaurants, cafes and beach.
