Cashew Grove Beach Resort

This resort is great from getting away from the town on Coron. The service and food were excellent. We were sent next door to Sand Castles and it was run down with no food service. The prices were higher also. I would not recommend anyone stay there!

Beautiful serene resort on the other side of the island. Cabins are really nice and comfortable, amazing view from your room to the sea. Couldn’t wish for better service, the team is very hard working and accomodating and always make sure you’re well taken care of. Would absolutely recommend, wish we could stay longer! PS: I saw a few comments about their food; the portions are perfect (and I’m a big guy). Prices are fair, equal to Coron. Pls don’t forget that they have to bring everything daily from there

Hôtel découvert par hasard mais quel plaisir un cadre magnifique en bord de mer. Des chambres magnifiques soit individuelles soit sur 2 niveaux. Des prestations proposées : ballade en bateau privé, location de scooter, massage. Un personnel aux petits soins et tres agréable. Des tarifs tres corrects Un beau 2 étoiles A recommander

Kind of sorry to write a bad review because the staff is so nice and friendly and the location is really nice, on the beach, very nice and clean pool and the bungalows are beautiful too, as well as the bathroom with it! Also there are friendly cats and dogs which is awesome! Good A/C in the room, hot water in the shower. But the food….! It’s expensive and the portions are way too small! Some things are good like the baked eggplant (still too small) or the vegetarian curry. But for example the potatoe gratin was 5 slices of potatoa with a little sauce!! The breakfast is a joke, the „fresh fruits“ were 3 slices of apple! Comes with fried rice or toast and egg… You pay a lot of money to stay here, so there really should be better food included! The Pinacolada: no cream in it and it was tiny! So is the coke! 140ml!? But to be fair we paid less in the end for that “cocktail”. No wifi in the room and very bad wifi at the restaurant and pool area. One night it was raining and it rained in our bed. No soap in the bathroom. And we had a strange smell in the room, like pee or something… but it wasn’t too bad. Also takes a lot of money to get here and back! No public transport. From the airport to the resort 1500p and from the resort to coron town 2500p At least in the end the manager was open to our complains and suggestions and said she will work on that! So it might get better! So it is a nice place to relax far away from everything if you don’t care about food and don’t need wifi!
