Carnside Guest House

Lovely stay here. Visiting area and Causeway for first time. Excellent location and quiet,despite being on working farm. Danielle and whole family ensured we had good experience. Breakfast was tasty and what we needed to set us up for the day.

From the get go, Danielle was the friendliest, most helpful host. She even carried my bag for me, on seeing I was in pain. The room was comfy, clean and the water piping hot. The breakfast was a credit to her grand-Aunt, home baking at its best. She was extremely patient with all guests, including the occasional stroppy one, and was great with children. I travel for work and am on the road 8 months of the year. This one, I'll remember, and.. I'll be back to try the hot tubs, next time!

Great location near Giants Causeway. Friendly welcome, very tasty breakfast included - both continental buffet and freshly cooked. Evening meal available if booked in advance but ate out in Bushmills. Great for a one night stop while exploring the area.

I stayed here one night while doing an 8-day hike along the causeway/coastline. Danielle and team were amazing. I was THRILLED to find a bathtub to soak my tired muscles. Room was a good size and had kettle and coffee/tea. The breakfast was outstanding. A very peaceful location very close to Giant's Causeway. Highly recommend!

My husband and I traveled with our 2 adult children. We had a room at Carnside with a double bed and 2 twins. Bedroom and bathroom very clean! The BnB was lovely. Danielle is a wonderful host! We planned to walk to Giant's Causeway from there to avoid paying for parking. It was late afternoon and very windy. We decided to drive to Causeway Hotel very near the BnB and pay 10 pounds to park there then apply the 10 pound voucher to dinner there. Worked out well. We enjoyed visiting Giant's Causeway! We paid to use the hot tub at the BnB. A drink is included. Danielle made each of us delicious daiquiris. It was cold outside but felt wonderful in the hot tub. The breakfast room is spacious and a lovely continental breakfast was laid out for guests to take what they wanted. On top of that Danielle cooks full Irish breakfasts for guests. Breakfast was fantastic. And, the BnB is perfectly located to go to Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and Dunluce castle, too. We did those things before heading to Derry.

What a lovely friendly place this is. We stayed on the 7th Sept room 1 on our first night of our little road trip and it was a fantastic start. Everyone was so helpful and relaxed.The breakfast was amazing and relaxed. The room very comfortable with a nice outlook of the Causeway coast. With more time it would have been good to walk to the Giant's Causeway and make use of the hot tubs. Would recommend as an ideal base for the area and would definitely stay here again if in the area. I stayed for one night and I would have stayed more if I was in the area longer. Was made to feel really welcome by the staff. The room was comfy, clean and had all the amenities needed and breakfast was amazing! Only a 15 minute walk to Giants Causeway. Would thoroughly recommend!

This family run business ranks at the top of our list of places we've stayed at through our 20-day trip. Not only was the view from the family suite spectacular, but its close proximity to the Giant's Causeway gave us the chance to walk there without having to pay for parking or deal with crowds since we could go after hours. I went there for a 7 am workout and had the entire place for myself! If you asked our kids, they would say that Carnside was their favorite because of the on-site Fun Farm, with things for kiddos of all ages to occupy themselves with while the parents take a load off (perfect for kids tired of being dragged from tourist attractions that only an adult could appreciate!). I would say that the best part of the Fun Farm is that most of it is inside (take that, rain!), but really, the best part are the air-powered foam ball canons that accommodate up to four people. SO much fun! Oh, almost forgot- we were in dire need of laundry services with no options- then Ann simply said, "we could do that for you!". This saved us half a day of sitting at a laundry facility (not my favorite way of spending a vacation), which was tremendously appreciated.

La maison est située en haut d’une colline avec une très jolie vue sur les plages. Elle se situe à quelques minutes de la chaussée des géants un lieu à voir absolument! L’accueil à la réception a été agréable et la chambre un peu vieillotte suffisait pour une nuit. Le point qui nous a un peu déplu, c’est l’odeur de la ferme à l’intérieur de la chambre, même les linges de toilette sentaient fort. Le petit-déjeuner contenait de tout et il y a la possibilité de commander la veille si l’on veut quelque chose en particulier.
