As an overnight stay whilst househunting, we have to say this premier inn really delivered. On arrival, the lovely, helpful receptionist allocated us a top floor quiet room, when i explained i was desperate for a good nights sleep. The room, while basic (as we all know) was clean and fresh. The bed was superb, the linens spotless. Traffic noise was minimal after 9pm, and considering its on a large roundabout, quite the achievement. And yes, i had the best nights sleep! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

This is my 2nd stay at this PremierInn, it was just as good as my first stay, very comfy rooms, warm good parking, what more can I say about of yes the Hungarian receptionist and the manageress both very helpful to me during my stay. So my next stay looks like being mid January 2025, to visit my daughter.

The air-conditioning in our room wasn't working properly. Room was very hot when we arrived. The air con controls weren't working. Had to go down to reception. They said they can control it from their computer but said ours should be working. We went out for the evening and when we returned the room was now too cold and the air con was on full blast. Again had to go down to reception to get them to turn it off. We were offered to have our breakfast refunded as a gesture which we accepted. We stayed for 2 nights and had the same up and down to reception to get the air con adjusted which is not acceptable. To this date we have received no refund and my wife contacted the customer service department over 2 weeks ago and has not received any response. Truly shocking and not good enough

I was working in Bury St Edmunds and chose the premier inn. The staff was excellent. Yuliia was an amazing host the beautiful Ukrainian women was so helpful. Justin the chef was also very friendly and the food couldn’t be faulted. Now Lek she is so friendly it’s unreal she had me smiling every minute. Such a bubbly person. If she can’t make you smile no one can. An all round pleasure of a stay

Lovely clean comfortable hotel. The staff here are fabulous and very polite and helpful. We didn’t eat but we had a drink in the bar which was well run. The room was clean with the usual comfy bed although I found it to be quite small compared to other premier inns and the bathroom was tiny. It was only noticeable as the shower door folds outwards which leaves very little room to get in and out of the shower as the towel rail is also in the way. This wasn’t an issue for us and as I say everything was lovely and clean. The hotel is within 15 minutes easy walk of the Town centre where there are lovely shops and a fabulous Wetherspoons in the old corn exchange. The town also holds the smallest pub in the UK which is very quirky and worth a visit. We loved our stay in this hotel and will definitely return. We got free parking this time of year but I’m not too sure if that is the norm

Didn't stay at the hotel overnight, but went for a walk in breakfast this morning. Was promptly greeted at the podium, paid and left to enjoy the buffet. The continental was topped up as and when needed and the cooked food was plentiful and hot and one of the nicest premier inn buffet styles I've had actually! Usually I prefer plated but Joseph cooks a mean breakfast! And thank you to Mollie for hosting FOH. Would recommend for a hearty all you can eat breakfast!

The self check inn didn’t function correctly, the only member of staff to assist in a manual check in was waiting on tables, not good. My room was typical premier inn standard although the heating didn’t work and only emitted cold air, this spoilt the stay, I would say avoid this particular premier inn.

Blimey, I think I have just met employee of the year! Lisa deserves a medal, a free drink, a pay rise and a sit down!! Imagine a long queue of people waiting to be checked in, a queue at the bar, people wanting their orders taken in the restaurant and food needing to be taken out, and being the only person working! I had to have a chuckle when someone came down to moan about something in their room. I think I would have lost it, but she was smiley and helpful all night. Very entertaining evening watching her all night, it was a ridiculous situation but Lisa was great. I think I might help her out myself tonight!!

Had a really nice long weekend staying here for a family memorial weekend in Bury Rooms clean, spacious and comfy Bar area nice for breakfast and evening drinks/food Staff helpful and friendly. Loads of parking too Also literally 2 minutes walk from a massive Tesco and (if you like Starbucks which I don’t) a Starbucks coffee shop onsite Very nice stay.
