Another fantastic Carvery, always a great selection of meats and vegetables on offer. Great atmosphere, the perfect place for families to enjoy a Sunday lunch. Not just carvery on offer but other delicious options. Sticky toffee pudding is a must!

Had the most delicious carvery this Sunday with family. The beef was melt in your mouth and the potatoes and vegetables were cooked to perfection . Attentive , friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a good value Sunday roast.

Went for a Carvery lunch with friends- Amazing, the turkey was so moist and the beef was spot on. The pork cracking was delish & i Loved the red cabbage, cauliflower cheese & the choices of vegetables! My daughter didn’t want a carvery & cooking her a separate dish was no problem at all! Great new chef!

We didn't stay at the motel sadly this time. However we had a most superb carvery on the remembrance Sunday. So many options of meat and veg. Very, very tasty. We babysat for my daughter and fiancé on the Friday night, and they said their evening meal was excellent. The restaurant and bar has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are all helpful and eager to help make it a good experience. Would really recommend.

Very disappointed with our anniversary lunch today. The beef was tough, vegetables undercooked, cabbage overcooked, gravy slopped over a Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes soggy. The best thing about the meal was the Horseradish sauce which no doubt was made in bulk!

Kamer is royaal genoeg en uitzicht is goed. Er wordt geen ontbijt geserveerd. De kamer wordt niet onderhouden als je er een aantal dagen (4) blijft. Het bed was het slechtste in vele jaren. Gewisseld van kamer en een iets minder slecht bed getroffen. Het uitzicht is mooi en het parkeren gratis.

Lovely evening spent in the sunshine in the garden which has just the most amazing views. We ate and the food was delicious. Two of us had the burgers which were fabulous and the ravioli which was to die for. Service great & nothing too much trouble.

Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, fabulous view from my room. My mother and I had a room each in the motel part of this business. I can not fault my room. The view from the double doors is just fabulous. We sat on my patio every morning for breakfast and spent hours watching the wildlife. The bed was very comfy. Generous tea/coffee box. Fridge to use. The staff were lovely and I wish them well for their spring festival next week.

Meal only. We had a fantastic meal here. Lovely staff, atmosphere and food. We were due to eat at the pub across the road for steak night the following night. That was a disaster. How I wish we’d eaten at The Bear instead. We ate here again after the sickly steak at the other pub and would highly recommend
