Buena estancia, recomendable! En primer lugar, nos dieron una hab con 1 cama un poco pequeña para 2. Pedimos un cambio y fueron muy amables y nos cambiaron a una hab con dos camas juntas. Dormimos muy bien.

Very outdated hotel carpets in room are threadbare ,air conditioning is non existent it's just an extraction fan no cooling whatsoever,reception staff were pleasant but bar waiter was just arrogant and insulting ! Hotel only warrants 2stars max avoid avoid avoid?

It's an excellent hotel for the price. 10 minutes walk from the old city, so restaurants and shops are easy to find. What I really appreciated was just how helpful the staff were.

My partner and I are staying at Hotel Rice Reyes Católico in a group booking as part of an arts festival in beautiful Burgos, Spain. We have been in Burgos 17 times (but who’s counting?), so we know the town and the hotels. When we arrived at the hotel and went to our room, it was stuffy. We turned on the air conditioning, but nothing happened. No cool air came out of the vents. We left, had dinner, and returned around 11 p.m. Still no air. We asked the night desk clerk about the AC. He said, “Do you have a fan?” We said that we didn’t, but when we entered our room, we saw that a fan had been brought to the room. This fan was our air conditioning. In Spain. In July. On day four of our stay, the fan is still our AC, despite repeated requests to the front disk to have the AC fixed. The response is always, “We hope that the AC will be fixed today.” Hopes and prayers, y’all. Our room, upgraded from a basic domicile, is barely large enough for two people and their luggage. The closet space is minimal, and you can’t hang a suit jacket without it touching the.bottom of the closet. This is a dorm room or a youth hostel, not a hotel. Furthermore, our upgraded room is on the back of the hotel, with a view of a concrete wall. Charming… And then there’s the smell of sewerage that permeates not only our room, but the rooms of our colleagues. Funky and nasty, to say the least. The breakfasts are barely adequate. The soggy tortilla, the most typical dish in Spain, is inedible. Really? If you are planning to visit Burgos, one of the preeminent smaller towns in Spain, with the most impressive cathedral in the country, please do yourself a favor and don’t stay at this sinkhole of a hotel. There are plenty of better affordable options. The hotel has the nerve to call itself a four-star operation. It’s a two-star hotel at best, and given our experience, it’s actually a one-star establishment. Avoid at all costs.

Good location about 10 minute walk to the cathedral, parking outside the hotel nice clean room and good shower and comfortable bed

Had all we needed for a brief stay. Very convenient for seeing the sites and reasonable garaging.

Comfortable bed and welcoming staff. Hotel in good position. Twenty minute walk to the Cathedral. Reception area very nice and received warm welcome from the man on reception. I believe his name was Ferdinand. We were given an accessible room (E95) on first floor. Positives were that it was very spacious. Bed was comfortable and there was a mini bar. Downside was that it is incredibly hot in the hotel. We could open the windows to cool it down but being above the front door and restaurant there was a fair amount of noise from the street. In the main it was lovely and clean but we had to ask for some blood stains to be removed from some light switches and there was a dirty plaster/ band aid on the floor in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was €15 but we did not have it. There is a cafe which you can get a smaller breakfast and coffee if you need it. We walked into town and got breakfast in a nearby cafe. There is street parking outside (2 hour max) so we used the hotel car park which is a few minutes walk away (cost €14) Overall a lovely hotel, comfort of bed and staff are the highlight. Suited us for just a one night stay.
