Just down the Road from Clarksons
Nice stay,.......food very good and excellent breakfast...very much a home from home ...nice decor...lounge done out like a lodge in the forest,log fire etc etc, adjoining dinning area very nice and modern....bar prices😭Hawkstone IPA 4.8%. 330ml...£6.00 a bottle😭....nice overall stay👍

Having not long returned from a three night stay over new year at the Burford lodge hotel with friends, we are all of the same opinion that The Burford lodge Hotel is a lovely clean and cosy place to stay with really nice and friendly proprietor's and staff. looking forward to seeing you same time this year . thanks to all and have a great holiday.

Room cold as window was still open at 19.30 heater was not on. We put it on and it blew the kettle and the T.V. No Boxing night T.V. Attendant was helpful but fiddled with fuses to no avail. We were moved around 20hrs but as rooms were not heated until we arrived think the hotel needs an upgrade as there was no extractor in bathroom either. Will not use this Travel Lodge again!

Great location at the top of Burford, central area location for many Cotswold villages (Bourton-on-the-Water , Castle Combe). Nice double room that we had booked, but they do offer nicer ones with better facilicities for a higher room rate. That one suited our budget. Great breakfast menu choices. My wife had Salmon and Scrambled eggs, and I had a full breakfast. Every item was nicely cooked, prepared and laid out on the plate. Friendly and welcoming staff and owner. Large car park. Angela the owner was helpful and I suggest booking directly with the hotel for a better room rate.

Burford stay
We spent four nights after a very long flight and driving for two hours from Heathrow. The host was welcoming and they helped us to the second floor with our heavy suitcases. Breakfast was hearty with good choices. Room was comfortable. The whole building including the room is old style, cosy and charming. Lots of steps to our top floor, so if one has issues with mobility, be awar.
Building located just outside Burford old town, 10 min walk. It has parking in front of the building which was very convenient for us. Great stay. Plenty to see around in the short driving distance.

Great experience
A beautiful building with lots of character.
Beautifully kept clean and very comfortable room.
Customer service was very inviting, friendly and homely.
Restaurant and bar very nice and atmospheric.
The food was absolutely amazing. Compliments to the chef. People around me were commenting on the great quality of the food.
I will go back again and can't raye highly enough.
Many thanks for making me feel welcome.

Excellent, friendly hotel offering very comfy rooms and good restaurant and bar. Owners very friendly and welcoming and had a free room upgrade, which always appreciated. Dinner and breakfast all made from local produce and excellent quality. Will return !
