Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort and Spa

We had a fantastic stay at Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort. The service is very attentive, and the staff are genuinely kind and charming, making you feel comfortable. The villas are nicely designed in traditional Indonesian style, offering both comfort and character. The food is lovely, and the cocktails are very good. The diving center is excellent — the instructors and guides are very knowledgeable, safety is clearly a priority, and the equipment is of good quality. The dive sites themselves are stunning, with an incredible variety of marine life. Kelly, Simon, Sandy and the whole team will take great care of you. The only downside is that the weather can be a bit unpredictable; but that’s just part of the charm of Southeast Asia. All in all, a wonderful experience and one we’d happily repeat!

Thanks to the thoughtful organization, even those with walking difficulties can fully enjoy the incredible underwater sights. I had the opportunity to dive and experience the breathtaking coral reefs – it was truly a soul-refreshing experience. The location is simply magical – surrounded by beautiful nature, with views of turquoise waters and lush greenery. The entire resort is exclusive, comfortable, and elegant, which adds to the overall luxury of the stay. One of the biggest highlights of this place is the amazing food – delicious, fresh, and perfectly tailored to my personal needs. As someone with celiac disease, I had complete peace of mind regarding my dietary needs. The resort's staff fully understood my requirements and made sure every meal was entirely gluten-free, while still being full of flavor and variety. They made sure my culinary preferences were completely accommodated, making every meal an absolute pleasure. This was my second visit to Bunaken Oasis, and I’m sure it won’t be my last. This place truly knows how to take care of its guests, offering relaxation, adventure, and luxury all in one. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway with exceptional service! I will definitely be back!

We decided to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary by embarking on a diving journey and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to get certified and celebrate our anniversary at the same time. It was the perfect combination of warmth hospitality and efficiency. Simon and Kelly the folks who run the resort ( both accomplished divers) treated us like guests in their own home. The staff is warm and friendly and always always have an infectious smile. The resort itself is surrounded by nature. All the cottages are traditionally built with an understated elegance. When you sit in the balcony for your morning cuppa you are surrounded by the sounds of birds and the calmness and the serenity just gets you. We couldn’t have chosen a better place for our dive ceritofication. Phoebe our instructor was patient and tolerated us for 4 days and ensured we learnt and had fun at the same time. We will be back again. This place is awesome

The villas are exquisitely designed, offering spacious comfort with every detail carefully considered, from the luxurious beds to the private terraces overlooking the ocean.

Location - Superb....within 10-40 min boat ride from 20+ amazing dive sights. Resort - absolutely gorgeous and v large well appointed rooms. Food - genuinely top class food. Best Indonesian food in all my trips to Bali, Lombok, Manado etc. Great non-Indo food also like pastas, grills, pizzas, coffee etc. Staff - love them. So kind and nice. Always smiling. And can solve any issues.

FABULOUS resort. The staff, the grounds, and the cottages were well-operated and consistently exceeded expectations. The dive boats were nicely maintained and dive guides were exceptional. Having such a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean at a diving resort is unexpected and such a treat. I would highly recommend this resort and hope to visit again.
