5 Frogs Hotel Bucerias

Looks like a great place to stop for dinner or drinks except no happy hour pricing. Also looks like somewhere I would stay when in Bucerias. With so many bars/restaurants around you that offer happy hour pricing I think people lean towards those places more. Better signage & a menu out front would help too. We will be back next year & hope to stop in.

To Americans and Canadians !!! Beware!!! If for any reason you need to cancel even 5 months ahead you will not get a full refund regardless of the policy. Stated. We paid the full amount due with a visa cc. 5 months out we had to cancel due to Dr recommendations for my husband's health issue at the time.. We requested our money as having to cancel. We were shorted $260 usd and when i asked why because they are a mexican hotel and returned our us money in pesos! What!! Actually the pesos went up in that time but regardless we paid in full what was asked and expected our full amount back. I wrote at least 5 emails asking for our money back and got a run around about being a Mexican hotel!!l After a few months the issue resolved and we were able to go to Bucerias but booked another "mexican. " hotel in Bucerias and had a wonderful stay. I asked the Mgr where we ended up staying about this "policy" and they said that is absurd!! Never heard of such a thing! If you pd with a cc you would get that amount back!!! While we were in Bucerias this February we went to the Frog and spoke with the actual owner in person and he said the same story we are a mexican hotel. Blah blah blah never got our money back. Offered us a drink on the house$$$$ really ! No thanks we are out $260 still so BEWARE . We paid in good faith what they required but they did not return our deposit in good faith. Too many other great spots to stay! R and D

5 Frogs Hotel is an excellent choice

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The full kitchen made it perfect for a comfortable and convenient stay, and having two pools was a fantastic bonus. The location couldn’t have been better—just half a block from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. The staff went above and beyond, offering top-notch service and thoughtful touches like a complimentary drink at both check-in and check-out. Highly recommend this gem—can’t wait to come back!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property and rooms were excellent.

We had a terrific stay at 5 Frogs. The whole team that work there really made the stay. The happy hour with appetizers was such a nice experience and the rooms very comfortable. Beds amazing and rooms with kitchenette's fully stocked. Shop around the corner to pick up food and refreshments. Felt right at home.
