Wij verbleven 1 nacht in rummana camp in Dana tijdens onze doorreis door Jordanië en hadden een geweldige ervaring! Na een hartelijk ontvangst en een welkomstthee konden we de omgeving ontdekken door een wandeling te maken. Er zijn verschillende wandelingen mogelijk, deze zijn allemaal bewegwijzerd dus verloren lopen is quasi onmogelijk. Het camp is een oase van rust, je kan hier zelfs wilde dieren horen. Desondanks hebben we er ons geen moment onveilig gevoeld (mede door geruststelling door de hosts) Na het avondmaal werd voor ons het kampvuur aangestoken en konden we nog genieten van een thee onder de sterrenhemel. Door de oorlog in het Midden-Oosten waren wij de enige gasten die er toen verbleven wat zeer jammer is. In groep is dit ongetwijfeld nog veel leuker! Het sanitair is basic maar zeker in orde en bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. Later in onze reis kwamen we een reiziger tegen die ook in Rummana camp had verbleven. Voor hem hadden ze ook speciaal het camp geopend, ze zien dus heel graag toeristen komen! Een zaklamp en slaapzak kan je best voorzien, het is er heel donker en frisjes tijdens de nacht. Een verblijf in Rummana camp kunnen wij dus alleen maar aanraden!

Dana camping is one of my top 3 things in Jordan! This was the most beautiful campsite. We walked down the long road to the site during sunset - amazing. We hiked to the top of the mountain for the sunrise - also amazing. The staff was friendly, helpful, and the food fresh they made just for us - zaky kteer. The tents were spacious and beds were comfortable, blankets and pillows provided, nice bathroom. It was quiet and we enjoyed a campfire at night with the stars. A perfect location with hikes all around. We had a wonderful stay!

We visited Rumanna Camp in October 2023. We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It s restful, peaceful, and very comfortable. The tent we stayed in had clean and comfortable mattresses and bedding. There is a communal Bedouin tent supplied with tea to relax during the day. The meals were really delicious, especially the dinners. The shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The staff, especially Salim the Manager, were very welcoming. We enjoyed an excellent day hike at the nearby Wadi Al Ghuwawyr. This camp is a wonderful place to stay, especially for nature lovers. Highly recommended.

Onze trail kwam aan in het Rummana camp. We bleven er de rest van de dag en we bleven er ook overnachten. Weet dat er helemaal niets te doen is. Dus nadat we er rond het middaguur aankwamen was er niets te doen. Bovendien was het erg heet die dag en weinig schaduw. Het duurde niet lang voor mijn man bevangen was door de hitte. Ze waren dan wel heel behulpzaam… Het diner was prima, het ontbijt ook. De tent, dat was letterlijk een tent met 3 matrassen op de grond. We zagen er wel een (woestijn)vos. Dat is dan ook meteen de reden om hier te logeren: kans op het zien wan wildlife.

Fabuleux camp de base pour tous les randonneurs partant à la découverte de la Réserve. Une vingtaine de tentes pour 2 à 4 personnes fournis avec matelas, couvertures et oreillers. L’ensemble est vraiment confortable. Le dîner ainsi que le petit-déjeuner sont délicieux et généreux. Enfin, les guides aux petits soins avec nous, nous ont fait passer un agréable séjour. Coup de cœur pour le réveil au moment du lever de soleil sur la Réserve. À faire !

Despite the lack of wifi and continuous power, it was a really wonderful experience. Tents were clean, toilets and showers were maintained and the food was delicious. The matresses were a bit hard but that is a personal preference. A lot of hikes were proposed during the introduction and the guide was also very experienced. Take a sweater for the cold nights and enjoy the sunset and the starry night.

Notre circuit en Jordanie avec Jordan memory tours 🇯🇴 est passé par le rummana camp de Dana. Le site est fantastique. Les prestations fournies sont excellentes. Les repas servis sont délicieux. Tout est très propre. Un conseil : Allez-y !!

Visiting with our family, Abdullah at the gate, and Hussein at the camp were so welcoming. They helped us plan our short time in Dana well so that we got maxi value. It's such a special place, next time we'll spend longer.

We had a great time at Rummana Camp. We have been there for 2 nights, we did a beautiful hike of 3 hours with our grandfather and children aged 11 and 13. The guide cooked for us in the mountains and it was enchantingly beautiful. From the camp you could also take various walks with beautiful distant views. In the evening the large campfire was lit and the delicious Jordanian tea was ready for you all day long. The food was delicious! We slept wonderfully, despite the storm that blew over, but the tents remained perfectly in place. In the. In the evening the foxes and wild cats walked around the camp and with a big flashlight we could easily track them down, the kids loved it. The sanitary facilities were simple and clean and the water nice and cold ;-). Thank you all for the wonderful time.
