Folkestone Inn

This trip was an amazing experience the food was fresh and delicious. The bed gave me the best sleep I've had away from home. The rim and attached patio was amazing and the claw foot tub was very nice as well. This place is beautiful and we will definitely be back!

Folkestone Inn is a wonderful B&B in a country setting and serves creative breakfasts - including fresh eggs from their own chickens! Toni and Scott are terrific hosts - very knowledgeable about the area and eager to point out things to do and places to see - giving tips about what's good or what might be better. Scott and Toni (both professional chefs) supplied a list of recommended area restaurants, as well. The other guests were from around the world and we loved getting to know them. The house was very clean with a rustic décor. All the best of a B&B vacation. Would definitely return if we visited the area again. One caution - there are steps to and inside the house.

Thge most peaceful and tranquil accomodation we have ever stayed in. It was a joy to overnight here with Toni and Scott and enjoy the warmth of their Inn and the delicious homecooked breakfasts. Ideal location to hike the nearby trails (e.g. Deep Creek) and enjoy some scenic drives (and maybe even see a bear). Hearing the cocks crowing at sunrise each morning was a lovely experience.

So cozy! We loved everything that the Inn provided, and we most definitely will make plans to return. The location seems just a little off the beaten path, but that made it the perfect spot. Nestled near The Great Smoky Mountains, surrounded by tall trees, roaming animals, and the peacefulness of nature, it was the perfect getaway for our anniversary weekend! Each morning we had coffee ready to enjoy on the porch where you could watch the hens run loose and the roasters announcing that a new and beautiful day had arrived! Simply not enough words to describe how wonderful breakfast was every morning. Each day we were treated to a new variety of deliciousness that delighted the palate. Trust us, only staying for 3 nights is not enough time to fully enjoy the peaceful ambiance that this quaint Inn provides!

Well, like everyone else, I will just have to haul off and slap another 5-star review onto this place! Not must new I can add, but say we had a great time, Scott and Toni were super helpful and the breakfasts were superb. The chickens were cool, and we chose Folkestone originally because it was just far enough from town to be peaceful and only a mile to some trails in Smoky Mountain National Park.

What a lovely place to recharge, in a farm setting. That even meant farm fresh eggs every day. Every breakfast was a gourmet surprise. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Our innkeeper, Toni, helped us find memorable things to do. Be sure to order Scott’s homemade pizza.

The Folkestone Inn is on a level all to itself! Scott and Toni do an amazing job of welcoming you as guests and then waving as friends when you drive away. I schedule vacations to this area based on their availability, not mine! Do not hesitate!

Toni was an amazing host. The bed and breakfast is quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Breakfast each morning was delicious. Sitting on the porch in the evening listening to the birds was relaxing. Extremely close to entrance to the smoky mountains.

This was a beautiful property in a excellent country setting! I can’t speak highly enough about the phenomenal breakfast and the customer service. We will definitely be revisiting this B&B.
