The Wesley Boutique Hotel & Spa

I spent 5 nights at the Wesley for a business trip. It's located in Bryanston in a very quiet area, about half an hour from the airport, and 1.5km from the Bryan shopping centre. Business parks and offices are a 10 minute taxi ride away. The room was very comfortable, and has a large walk-in shower. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and there is a pool, which I didn't get to try as it was still a bit cold. It was a real pleasure to relax in the gardens. Breakfast consists of cereals, juices, toast - and an excellent hot meal cooked to order. No fresh salad option, but I was more than happy with what was provided. Note there is no evening meal, so you'll need to go out, or order in from Uber Eats. There is no shortage of options in the area. If I need to return to Johannesburg I'll definitely stay at the Wesley again.

The establishment is neat and clean with a very helpful attendant on site; however, I don't believe management/owners are taking an active role on site. 1. I was flying in from a multiple stop trip and the requirement was for me to establish an exact arrival time which was just not possible when you consider airport regulations. 2. The vegetarian request was not attended to in our first breakfast. 3. The establishment did not manage the water outage experienced in the area on the last day. I was given 1 5l to make do among two grown adults who needed to bathe and brush teeth.

Fabulous boutique BnB with amazing staff to check in, an INCREDIBLE cooked breakfast from Cindy, and just general looking-after from Lize. We will definitely be back when we come back to RSA and need somewhere central, comfortable and quiet to stay for a great price.
