Brend was a wealth of knowledge, as well as fun to talk to. It’s a renovated 18th century building and they ave made great use of the space….bed was comfy.

We stayed here for 4 nights over the Xmas period. It was just as we had expected from the reviews we had read previous to our trip. The owner, Brend, is truly a funny guy, but also a great, hard working host, very helpfull. We had a great time here. If you are expecting 5 star surroundings for 3 star money, then forget it. What you will get however, is fantastic hospitality, a clean room, with a fantastic comfy bed, complete with a tv and tea making facilities. The hotel is tucked away just literally a short walk from the main town square. The nearby car park costs €15 per 24hours of parking, which is a lot cheaper than having your car towed away, as they are very strict on the parking regulations in Belgium. For a “homely” get away, I would fully recommend this hotel.

Hôtel bien situé, en plein centre-ville tout en étant au calme (dans une rue non commerçante). Attendez-vous néanmoins à devoir garer la voiture loin à très loin de l'hôtel car le parking public a côté est vite saturé. En surface, comptez 16 €/4h max...C'est un hôtel familial qui se rapproche davantage d'un b&b. Beaucoup d'équipements mériteraient d'être rénovés (moquette usée de l'escalier, fenêtres, ascenseur dangereux, sommier de lit avec un pied en moins!.....). Le ménage pourrait aussi être mieux fait (poussière et autres déchets sous les lits....). La literie n'est pas extra (oreillers énormes). Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas extraordinaire (quasiment que de la nourriture industrielle, pas de salé sauf jambon industriel). En revanche, chambre spacieuse. Pour 3 nuits c'était beaucoup. Pour une nuit c'est très acceptable mais une rénovation globale s'impose prochainement.

Hotel centrale in posizione strategica per raggiungere tutte le attrazioni di Bruges città meravigliosa. Colazione buona e gestori dell'hotel attenti e cordiali. Stanza pulita e abbastanza grande per ospitare 4 persone. Forse fare qualche piccolo intervento all'impianto elettrico per evitare cavi volanti o scarpette e sarebbe il top! Consigliatissimo!

A quirky gem
If sterile, bland chain hotels aren’t your thing you couldn’t do better than this gem. Situated in the heart of things just near the fish market this is an ideal base for your stay. A warm, friendly welcome every day, superb, plentiful breakfast sets you up for a wonderful day of sightseeing and by the time you finish and head back a comfortable bed and great nights sleep awaits you.

Hotel centralissimo e tranquillo.
Posizione centralissima, a due passi dalle piazze principali e dai canali più suggestivi. Dimensioni camera sufficienti, ma bagno molto piccolo. Buona la colazione. Possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento nelle vicinanze e gratuito subito fuori dal centro, a 1 km di distanza. Abbastanza caro il mangiare. Troppi turisti nelle zone centrali, ma bastava allontanarsi di poche centinaia di metri per godersi il fascino di Bruges
