"Very good hotel that felt like a family home to us on our first trip to Africa. We stayed in one of the suites with 2 bedrooms and true ocean view. We were happy to have air condition in the bed rooms, working fine to keep a comfortable temperature throughout the night. The staff consisted of kind, smiling people, really doing their best to give us a nice hotel experience. They kept the rooms, the hotel and the pool nice and clean. The breakfast was nicely customized to our own choice. Furthermore we had good quality, nice local food served for dinner. All together a very nice hotel experience that exceeded our expectations in a country with so many challenges to improve their standard of living."

"Had a lovely time, the staff were very friendly and helpful, The rooms were very clean and tidy with lots of space and lots of facilities (especially for the Gambia) There was 2 rooms, 1 bedroom with double bed and lockable wardrobe size storage the other room had 2 sofas and a table, small fridge, smart TV (but I didn't use so don't know much about that). Hot water shower 🚿 clean toilet 🚽 with flush , ceiling fans in both rooms and all for 1300 dallasies ( about £14) a night . Originally paid for one night online before I arrived but decided to stay an extra night and that was no problem and also because I landed at 7:30 pm there was no way to check in at the latest time of 5:30 pm but that was not a problem when I arrived at about 8:30 pm and explained. Overall very pleased and would certainly use them again"

"Very relaxed and stylish boutique 6 room hotel, with excellent owners and staff. The epitome of a peaceful holiday destination, but with access to the bustling Senegambia strip 15 minutes away by friendly taxi for a lively evening. Food is always fresh and of the highest quality, with daily specials and traditional Gambian dishes on request. Very large immaculately kept garden, offering sun and shade when required, with easy access to the very long and wide quiet beach. A great location base to explore the Gambian bird wildlife, and then return back to the secluded garden and just watch the birds and occasional monkey visit the garden. Rooms: All rooms are non smoking, have a fridge, TV, Bluetooth speaker, air conditioning, ceiling fan and mosquito blinds on the balcony doors, allowing you to forgo A/C for a gentle breeze without bugs. Nearby activities: Birding trips by land and boat. Visits to Gambian locals for cooking lessons. Safety: Local mobile phone in each room with pre programmed numbers, that can be taken out if you venture away from the hotel. Walkability: Long sandy beach for long walks. Food and drinks: Fresh excellent food. Noteworthy details: If you like peice and quiet, once you visit you will return!"
