"I stayed at the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Kincardine and rate it 3/5. I booked two rooms for a group of friends, but we were placed on different floors, which was inconvenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the room assignment affected our stay as we're travelling with kids."

"When we arrived at the restaurant at 8 PM, there was no reception desk. Later, we saw the owner in the restaurant and asked him to come and check us in. He told us to wait and keep calling the front desk. The front desk still didn't come, and he reluctantly checked us in."

"Hostile Toward Guests…  Adventure the Bruce Inn. What a weird name, it doesn’t even make sense. But we had to stay somewhere or we’d be sleeping in tents ⛺️  Your ad said no changes, no cancellations, and no refunds at all. In the front office “No recording conversations with staff” is posted on the wall 🤫 $500 per night to sleep in a shed. But if you don’t show up all all, a “no show” charge is hung on your head 💰  A camera pointed at the hot tub so you can watch us, we weren’t warned. A plastic cover screwed to the controls, the jets low, water barely warmed 👙  After you had us locked into your no refunds policy, extra hidden were charges added on, even a sneaky parking fee 🤬 A policy or rule posted on every table and shelf, we should’ve seen the signs and stayed somewhere else 👻 We’d have complained to staff at check in but another contract we signed: you can kick us out for any reason, with no warning, at any time ☠️ We’d never been somewhere the staff and management were so hostile toward families. Perhaps your talents are better suited to running boot camp academies 🫡  Fellow travellers we wish you a good journey in Tobermory, stay a while. Just not at this place, it’s unsafe, management is very hostile 👿"

"Paradise Inn is as a paradise . The view is amazing . I felt at home . The room was very clean and the kitchen too . It is very convenient , as a family we decided to extend more days because we enjoyed staying at Paradise Inn . Also, the management staff were amazing , was easy to contact them when we needed it . in addition to, Ema and Donna were friendly and nice room service staff , they made the place very clean and organized . We are planning to spend at least one week soon . We enjoyed the lake view from our rooms , just a few minutes we were at the lake shore, the location is nearby restaurants and the community there was friendly ."

"Booked 2 nights here. What an absolute dump. Firstly, the door opened with a key in the doorknob. There was no deadbolt. The room had a queen sized bed that creaked loudly and was hard as a rock. There was a small table, 2 chairs, a bar fridge and microwave. There was a kettle, but no coffee or tea. The bathroom had a bi-fold door that did not close, so no privacy. The bathroom vanity and toilet were newer but the shower had mold. After 5 minutes of trying to regulate the water temperature, I gave up. There was a small tv that got about 5 channels. There was no closet, just a coatrack and a couple of hooks on the wall. The room was fairly clean. There was a cheap curtain on the window that did not keep out the light at night. Last but not least, there was a Narcan kit in the one drawer in case you decided to OD during your stay. We left early after one night. We couldn’t possibly face another night there."

"Beware Save Inn.!These guys are crooks. We prepaid for the room and when we arrived, the doors were locked and noone around. This was at 10.50 pm. We had tried to reach them earlier in the day and again when we couldn't get in. No one ever answers the ph. Not only did they rob us of $145.00 but we had to pay top dollars for the only hotel in town that had a room. Shut these crooks down! I've never had this kind of experience with renting a room before. Unbelievable! If anyone has suggestions on how they can be reported please share."
