"We had an overall very nice stay at The Billi Resort. It's located in a lovely, peaceful area on the edge of Broome. A huge shoutout to the Swedish receptionist who welcomed us-she was incredibly cheerful, professional, and lovely. The resort itself is beautiful and very well-kept. The pool area is gorgeous, though the pool water was freezing during our stay. They offer a few different accommodation types (houses, tents, etc.), and we opted for a luxury tent. It was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed. a safe, and a fantastic outdoor shower (plus indoor bathroom facilities). It also comes with a small galley kitchen; while the utensils are a bit limited, it's perfectly fine for basic needs. A couple of things to keep in mind: when it gets windy (which it did most days), the entire tent rattles-both the fabric sides and the roof-making it very noisy at night. Also, expect to share your bathroom with plenty of frogs! We didn't mind them at all, but it's worth noting. It is on the pricier side to stay here, but then again, all of Broome seems quite expensive. Despite the wind noise, it's a wonderful place and we really enjoyed our time here. We especially loved the BBQ facilities."

"This was the best accommodation on our entire road trip from Melbourne to Perth, Broome, and back to Melbourne. The facilities were excellent, the environment was beautiful, and the staff provided exceptional service with very helpful recommendations. The outdoor shower with little frogs in the garden was absolutely adorable. Highly recommend this place!"

"This is a nice resort but did feel very expensive for what it was. Positives: Nice, calm environment and great to spend a few days relaxing Great breakfast Negatives: Room aircon has locked settings and unable to cool the room properly. No filtered water available other than small bottle on check in. I was advised to fill my water bottle with the bathroom tap or shower which is poor considering hostels offer drink fountains. No robes and very limited toiletries. No assistance from staff with heavy bags which is a shame because I’m pregnant and it’s not as easy as it usually is!"

"Horrible hotel without much privacy. Need to close curtain if you don’t want people to look inside by doing so can’t have fresh air in the room. Reception was most unhelpful with information. Worst of all no one will be at reception after 6pm, if in emergency you’ll have to call them by using long distance call if you don’t have local tel card. I really will not recommend this hotel considering it’s not cheap over US$300 per night"
