Voyager Resort

I was a little concerned when first booked as the $$$ was way below others around We were amazed great location Our apartment 14th floor overlooked the ocean just perfect for our evening drinks on the balcony Easy walking distance to Pacific Fair shopping centre and Oasis just next door The apartment was clean with all that we needed - microwave/oven dishwasher etc etc They have a pool/spa, tennis court and other facilities The only down side is a new building under construction next door We were extremely lucky as they must have taken days off as we were glad as the last morning the banging did start early but if you were an early riser no worries We walked to surfers a couple times along the boardwalk which was about 40 mins walk but nice along the water We would definitely stay at Voyage again

Fabulous location & wonderful helpful friendly staff . Super clean and well appointed apartment . I really appreciated their non smoking on balcony rules , it made relaxing on my balcony gazing out to sea , even more enjoyable. I’ll be back .

Facts. We have stayed here previously and have enjoyed our holidays. Voyager is in a fabulous location. We payed $175.00 per night. There is a construction site next door. We were made aware of this when we booked. The noise was excessive at times, doors and windows had to remain closed to reduce it. Voyager has a non smoking policy, this includes the balconies. My opinions. It is very noisy from 7am onwards. Machinery and workers doing their thing. It was difficult to relax during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you enjoy a cigarette on a balcony, with a coffee or a drink, looking at the ocean and the view then you should probably look elsewhere.

The view really fabulous stayed for 2 weeks. Yes agree with some reviews a little tired, however very comfy good kitchen facilities opposite the beach if you like laid back with a view to watch the world go by then go ahead. Buy an easy cook meal from woolies and you have best view on the GC. Already Booked for next year. Little concerned about the bLock going up next door, let’s wait and see the impact.

Excellent services, food is fresh and delicious. The amenities are also clean and presentable. Well organised staff and entertainment is on point. Very homely, congratulations and keep up. I will recommend the hotel to my family holiday team.

Great location with stunning sea views. Also, in the heart of the local restaurant street and a short walk to the ******. Rooms are well appointed with everything you need and the staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value.

Absolutely prime position you couldn’t get better. Amazing views, across the road from beach and surf club, so many shops and restaurants a short walk away and a short stroll to the tram. Has to be the best value accommodation at Broadbeach. There is a building site next door at the moment but the noise was minimal. Yes the apartments are a bit tired but for the price just suck it up and sit on the balcony and admire the view and treat yourself to a nice meal with the money you’ve saved !

We stayed here Dec 2022, we had the top floor so the view was great. The position of this property is A1! The apartment itself was very dated, extremely tired and in desperate need of a renovation. The furniture was uncomfortable and the flat screen TVs were the smallest I’ve ever seen in any accommodation house and I’ve been in many. On our second last night we were wakened by an extremely loud noise which went on and on for some considerable time. Fireman were rushing between floors and the roof. We were unable to find anyone to tell us what was going on as no one from management appeared or was contactable. It was a very unnerving experience and we decided to check out and forgo our last night. On checking out we expressed our concerns and were told “yes I did hear about something last night” but that was all. I subsequently requested a refund of our last night and following numerous emails with someone possessing the vague title of “accounts/reception” who very cleverly deflected/avoided addressing all of my claims and I was told that she didn’t believe my description of the events and could not comment on the response by the receptionist at check out as she, the accounts/reception person, “had not witnessed this conversation”. I was offered a credit for the last night but declined this, I would not go back there. I have real concerns regarding this property’s management and especially their casual attitude to the OH&S issues we raised with them.

I really really loved this hotel. The food was amazing, delicious and it was in variety. I especially enjoyed the desert and I would love to say thank you to the chefs. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we I needed help with something. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. However, the shower was not the best, the pressure was little. The facilities were to die for. The swimming pools and the environment was very relaxing and calm. I would 100% recommend this hotel and I would love to come back. This is one of the best hotels in Mombasa.
