"Stayed at this great Hotel to celebrate the 80th Birthday of a local celebrity. Very warm & comfortable. The Owner & her Husband were very friendly & made us very welcome, as did their staff. I would highly recommend this lovely Hotel, & we hope to stay again very soon. Thanks again for making our weekend very comfy."

"Ranscombe House was perfect for our needs , we only stayed for one night we arrived a bit early and asked to leave the car at their car park which was ok. Went into town which isn’t that far away. Pip was a great host the room was perfect very clean and comfortable, breakfast was very tasty and plenty of choice. We had a free upgrade and the view from the midships room are great. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Pip for making making us feel at home."

"Upea paikka jäädä. Kaunis, ystävällinen ja tervetullut omistajat. Ei mitään ollut liikaa ongelmia heille. "Had an amazing meal at the smugglers. The chef Curtis showed us the different steaks and talked us through each one. I had the ribeye steak which I asked it to be cooked bleu, it was perfect and up there with the best I’ve ever had. All the team were lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend a visit."

"We’ve just returned from our 3rd visit to this B&B having previously stayed in various places around the harbour over many years. It’s a beautiful old house with loads of character in the perfect spot for a view over Brixham, a couple of minutes walk down the hill and you’re in the harbour. The on site parking is a huge plus in Brixham. We were a group of 5 this time with our 2 children 17 and 14 and our sons’ school friend 15 & our dog. The bunk room was perfect for the boys and as the smallest of the rooms available you get use of the cosy separate lounge downstairs. My wife and I and our daughter stayed in Crows Nest 1 at the top of the house. I had to laugh at an earlier review slating this room for the low ceiling beams which gives it so much character. At 6 foot 2 it didn’t bother me at all. Hard to imagine a better host than Pip. Very welcoming with a great knowledge of the area. Nothing too much trouble and he cooks a superb breakfast to order, around ample choice for uncooked options if that’s your preference. The Honesty Bar is a nice touch, help yourself and write down whatever you have for payment when you leave, adds to the homely/welcoming feel of the place. We’ll be back…again!"

"A must stay for couples! The view was incredible (you can see in the photos below)! We also had a fantastic meal at The Rockfish restaurant, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient for all the shops/bars/restaurants in the harbour. The parking provided by the hotel was at the harbour itself, and was very convenient. We used self check-in, it was so quick and easy we could just get on with our short trip and waste no time! At breakfast we had the pleasure of meeting the owners, aside from the delicious (made to order) breakfast, the service was incredible. Highly recommend!"

"Mieheni ja minä olemme juuri palanneet kahden yön oleskelu Brookside B &B. Ensinnäkin sanoa, mitä kauniit isäntät Joe ja Linda olivat. Meille annettiin lämmin tervetuloa ja teetä ja kakkua saapuessa, joka oli erittäin arvostettu. Joe selitti meille kaiken oleskelustamme. Huonemme oli niin puhdas ja mukava kaunis kylpyhuone valkoisilla pyyhkeillä ja tilat. Aamiainen valitsi hienon valinnan ja oli tuoreet keitetyt ja kauniisti esitelty Linda. Oli kuuma putki, jonka nautimme erittäin myöhään iltapäivällä yhdellä päivällä. Joe jopa heitti meidät ulos kaksi lasi Prosecco kun olimme siellä. Olimme kävelymatkan päässä Brixham, paljon kauppoja, pubeja ja super kala ravintoloita. Suosittelemme erittäin jäädä tänne, jos käyt Brixham. Kiitos Joe ja Linda upea oleskelu."
