Fabulous experience for my first time Bridlington journey

The bed was the comfiest bed ever, the house was lovely and clean and the owner was very welcoming and lovely and we can't wait to stay there again.

Our second stay at this guest house and just like our first time, Absolutley Wonderful. Theresa, our host was brilliant. Everything was just as we expected it to be and better. If we were to give a star rating, then it would have to be 5* plus. Thank you so much Theresa, we cannot thank you enough much and we are so looking forward to staying with you again in 2026. Theresa is a very helpful and friendly host. The room was cleaned and spotless during our stay. Facilities were spot on. All amenities and beach very close. We’re back next year!

Kind and welcoming owner. Calm and comfortable space. Helpful set-up, including a refrigerator, microwave, and table, along with access to dishes and cutlery. Close to the beach, Spa, and public transit, and an easy base for Flamborough and the Bempton Cliffs.

Great reception nothing was too much trouble. Parked the car and able to walk easily round town and beaches. Rooms cleaned daily, and for a change real coffee in the room. Microwave if required. We’ll be back next year all being well.

It was ok. It was ok. Bedroom clean, bathroom mostly ok except for the shower cubicle which I cleaned myself and cleared the blocked plughole, which was leaving you stood in a couple of inches of water. Very noisy at night, people seemed to be moving things outside on the landing? and the top stairs are in need of a good vacuum.

This was very much a last minute thing for the bank holiday weekend. Never considered bridlington before, and had no idea what to expect. What we found there was even better than expected! Beautiful beaches, super friendly atmosphere, plenty to do - especially with kids. There was way more than we had anticipated. When we arrived at Home and Away, the location was fantastic. Less than 5 minutes to the beach and within walking distance of everything. The room was perfect for our needs and Teresa who runs the guest house was really welcoming. Our room had a super comfy bed and was a good size. With a microwave and fridge in there as well, it meant if we needed to, we had somewhere to keep drinks cool and heat through food. We had a fantastic couple of days and that was helped immensely by having somewhere so nice to stay. If I had any gripe, the parking was a bit of a nightmare. We weren't able to park outside so had to park a few streets away and walk along with the bags. Not a big deal for us at all, but something to be aware of.

Great stay at Home and Away! Clean and comfy, friendly and helpful. Lovely helpful hosts. I'm more than happy to recommend this place. Very well situated for the beach and Bridlington Spa and also to walk into town. Plenty of places to eat etc.

Theresa the host was lovely and welcoming. The room and en suite were spotless. The bed and pillows were so comfy. Everything you need was provided, microwave, kettle, fridge it was like home from home . Thanks for everything Theresa, we will definitely be back. Baz and Jackie, South Yorkshire

Been to home and away four times. Now and every time is a plessure very welcoming and very friendly nice and clean and upto date place I ll be going bk very soon 😊 there is parking bike hire discount card for cafes and shows really great experience

The rooms were spotless the beds and pillows so comfortable we couldn't find any faults tea coffee hot chocolate even a microwave if you bring any food back that needs warming up. The owners Theresa and Howard so friendly and very helpful couldn't do enough for you would highly recommend.

Lovely, comfy, well equipped room. Good quiet location - close to the seafront. Friendly host. Great to have a fridge & microwave, along with access to plates & cutlery. Great to have a discount card for some of the local places - although we didn't discover it until we were leaving ! Parking not an issue. Definitely recommend.

Definitely a great place to stay and feel at home whilst away! Perfect location for accessing the beach, seafront and Bridlington spa. Theresa is a brilliant host, very welcoming and takes pride in her clean and comfy rooms. I didn't make use of the bike hire but maybe next time. Highly recommend whether on holiday or working in the area.
