Red Roof Inn Bridgeton

Do yourself a favor and find a different location. Do not stay at the Red Roof Inn in Bridgeton. This location is dirty everywhere and unkept. The manager appears to only want to argue and put blame on the guest if something is wrong with the room. Good luck getting your money back. I had 2 rooms at this location. The first room smelled of cigarettes, the sheets had burn marks all the way to the mattress and the toilet didn't flush. Someone tried to cut the burn marks out of the sheets. Under the covers the bedding was filthy, full of hair and dirt. The manager tried to argue with me when I asked for new bedding. He decided to put me in a different room when I let him know there was a mouse in the room. They also decided to "clean my room"and all of my property was removed by housekeeping. When I asked about my things the house cleaner said there was only trash in the room so she removed it. It was my clothes and pets things. No trash The second room appeared to be better. I was wrong. The tub was filthy, blood stains on the mattress. No fitted sheet on the bed a regular sheet was laid over the mattress. The main light didn't work. Only 3 dirty towels were provided. These rooms appear clean on the site. They are not. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.You are worth it. I unfortunately, was paid up for 3 nights.

I chose this place to stay as my dad is at DePaul Hospital and this was the closest hotel. After not sleeping the night before, taking a 6am flight to get here, sitting with my dad all day, all I wanted was a hot shower and a bed. Welp... that's not what I got. The shower handle was broken, the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The air condition was dirty/moldy, the bathroom door was splitting, the trash can was filthy and had an acrylic nail stuck to the dirt in the bottom, the side tables has moisture rings, the freezer was covered in ice and old food, the bathtub spigot was loose, the tub had rust spots, the toilet paper wasn't on the roll, the TV had damage spots on it, and the bed was sunken in the middle. When I asked for another room, I was told that they were completely booked. ********** gave me a refund for the two additional nights that I had prepaid, but still charged for that night of horror.
