Unfortunately, I did not stay here due to an admin error... but RACHEL on the check-in desk was an absolute 🌟... She found me a room at another travel lodge and even spoke to my logistics manager to sort the room for me over the phone and book it for me. I was in retail management for almost 28 years and this employee knocked spots off any middle management I have ever met. Promote and praise and please recognize this team member as they don't come much better and genuine than Rachel..

From the moment we arrived after an extremely long drive, Sheila was on hand to get us checked in and ensure we had everything we needed. She really was a great welcome party, she continued to be helpful throughout our stay.

Lovely welcome from receptionist. A calm and quiet stay, in a clean room, great nights sleep in comfy bed. The location is very handy from motorway and the hotel is in a peaceful spot. The restaurant next door is very handy and staff are friendly

Staff at this Travelodge are friendly and helpful especially Sheila who is just naturally a people person. Just having a conversation with her just makes your day. Very knowledgeable of the local area. In a nutshell customer service the way it should be.

Freezing cold room . Thin quilts. Shower that flooded the floor . I would never book pencoed travelodge ever again . This was the worst one I've ever stayed in .

A big thank you to the staff at Pencoed in particular Sheila who was always very kind, friendly and professional where nothing was too much trouble and she was always willing to help. After a long stay in between moving properties, she was always easy to approach and made my long stay more comfortable. The room was always cleaned and kept to a good standard. Thank You Sheila.

Room was clean, a little tired and door was difficult to open, outside of hotel was full of rubbish and needed a sweep. Other guests threw cigarette ends despite there being plenty of bins. However, room was in good order and bed comfy. A great base for our trip

Brilliant stay at this Travelodge. The manager Natasha went above and beyond to help. On booking it was missed to have a cot for my 5 month baby so went to reception to request one to witch Natasha was very apologetic and soon brought one to my room and even set it up ready as she could see I had my hands full. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Natasha.
