My wife and I spent two nights at Brenton on Rocks. Our experience was overwhelmingly positive. The management and staff were hospitable and really did go the extra mile. The room was clean with all amenities and appliances present and working. The sea view from our room balcony was spectacular. All in all, highly recommendable.

We stayed at the Brenton on the Rock for two days. The room and bathroom were very large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Everything we needed was there: a coffee maker, refrigerator, shower amenities, etc. The view of the sea from the balcony was fantastic. The furniture is a bit dated and in need of renovation; the refrigerator had rust near the bottom of the door, and the wood veneer on the cabinets in the room and bathroom were showing signs of wear. The rooms in the main building are on the upper floors and are difficult to access for people with disabilities. The staff was very friendly. For breakfast, you had to mark your preference on a menu the day before. Unfortunately, there was only a selection of different egg variations with various side dishes.

Great location. Beautiful place. Helpful staff. Beautiful views. There are beautiful walks around here, along the cliffs. The location is ideal and close to two good restaurants. The better one has got great views over the beach and sea. A beautiful spot to watch to sun going down. We started in a small room that was good, but when we moved to a bigger room with sea view, wow!

Die Aussicht der Zimmer war grandios. Die Gastgeber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sauber, die Unterkunft ist aber leider in die Jahre gekommen.

We loved our stay and are definitely coming back! It is perfectly located and we would definitely recommend this hotel, rather than living directly in Knysna. The dive to the city takes approx. 15min. Thanks also to Nico for being such a lovely host!

We had the honeymoon room which had a balcony right above the cliff face with the sea coming in below us. It is a beautiful spot to enjoy the sea and the sunsets. Our only problem was the parking was a bit difficult and we hit our car on a low wall while reversing, so be careful! The team was very welcoming and thre is a good restaurant you can walk to for dinner, the Blue Butterfly..

Great view from the balcony to the ocean. Even it's loud, you won't here the sound of the sea while sleeping. Very clean and quiet, beach is not far away and also the drive to Knynsa doesn't take too long.
Hope to be there again any time

Das Hotel Brenton On The Rocks hat eine gigantische Lage, direkt an den Klippen des Indischen Ozeans mit herrlichen Sonnenauf- und untergängen. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und die kleine Küche mit großem Kühlschrank war super.
