Stay in the Heart of Washington County between Austin & Houston

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Here’s where the property fell short:-No hair blow dryer was available. -Keurig coffee maker was not clean, there was cream, sugar but no coffee pods.-The kitchen is poorly appointed with pans and cooking utensils. Barely functional.-Eating utensils mostly missing. There was one teaspoon, four tablespoons, one fork, and four butter knives. All looked unwashed and far beyond their prime. -The air conditioner was leaking water onto the entryway floor from an overhead vent. The vent was caked with dirt and the drywall had considerable water damage. -The bedroom had a full size bed (not disclosed), not a queen or king; the dresser was full of broken wood bits and the drawers were largely non-functional. There were no luggage stands. -The smoke detector in the bedroom had been removed, with wires exposed.-The ironing board was filthy and unuseable. -To the immediate left of the outside entry there was a missing section of the rain downspout from the second story roof. Due to rain, this resulted in water drenching the adjacent electrical panel. -Exposed, cut electrical wire is hanging out of the closet ceiling.-The walk-in closet was unfinished with no drywall on one wall. -The listing does not disclose that the property has about 32 stairs to get from ground level to the entry of the unit. A huge problem for those with mobility limitations.

Great stay! Close to restaurants and shops. Never had to use my car. Thank you!

Texas arts and music festival This is the second time we have stayed here, whenever we plan a trip to Brenham this is the place we try to stay. We really enjoyed it.
