"It was on our way to Köln. Nothing special other than a good location. We did not like the 5€ charge for the car parking, it was meaningless for a flooded area because of the rain, they also gave us a piece of paper to put it on the car shield … I wouldn’t complain if they asked 5€ just for the staff."

"The hotel is in a good location, next to a large park and has its own free underground garage. Housekeeping and front desk service were very good. However, after checking in, I found that many rooms on the floor I stayed in were being renovated, and there was no warning before booking. If I had known this, I would not have booked it! Although I lived in a room at the end of the corridor, there was still a strong smell of decoration. I am very sensitive to smells and felt very uncomfortable. After staying there for one night, I started to have rhinitis in the morning, with a runny nose and sneezing. There were ants in the breakfast restaurant and the room. The pillows in the room were very flat and uncomfortable."

"Overall, a very nice stay, with some caveats. The breakfast was really good, the bed comfortable, and the location convenient to my meetings at the University (it was nice to be across from the park as well). A few things that could have been better. 1. I was put in a room without AC (which I did not know was possible). There was a thermostat in the room, but I was told it is not attached to anything. It was hot during my 6 night stay (highs of 30C/ 86F, each day). I had to request (and insist) on being moved to a room with AC. They first said they were sold out, but when I persisted they found me a room with AC. I would have left had that not been arranged. Make sure you insist on a room with AC before you reserve/check in. 2. The mini-fridges in the rooms are not all functioning. I had to request that mine be turned on, which necessitated yet another room change. 3. The WIFI hardly worked at all on the top floor, where my final room was situated. It was easy enough to connect, but then would disconnect every 2 minutes or so. This made doing zoom calls impossible and working online a feat of extreme patience and coping with frustration. Apparently, you can two of the 3: WIFI, fridge, or AC. I sure wanted all 3, but only got two. Oh, and oddly enough, you have to ask the reception desk staff to let you in the modest fitness room, as it remains locked and guests do not have a key. They were nice enough to let me in each time, but it seems like a strange practice. All in all, the staff were really nice and accommodating, within the restraints of the available resources as described above. "

"You have to check in first to get a code for the (reserved) parking garage. That is annoying because you cannot park the car right in front of the door. The garage is good, though, with charging facilities for your EV. The room is small but okay; it is warm, and you cannot adjust the temperature. There was a spot in the bathroom that looked like chewing gum. Otherwise, a nice shower with a good water pressure. Wi-Fi works well, and breakfast is also okay. The tram stops right outside the door to go to the city center."

"This stay at Atlantic Hotel Vegesack was a great experience. The hotel is located in the most nautical Wigsack District in Bremen. You can feel the leisurely atmosphere of the Wei Si River when you walk out of the hotel. It is very pleasant to visit the old town and see the boats in the port. The soundproofing effect of the room is very good, the rest is very quiet at night, equipped with a minibar, coffee and tea set, some rooms can also enjoy the river view, and opening the curtains in the morning is a good mood. The hotel provides a rich buffet breakfast with many choices. In summer, you can enjoy it while basking in the sun on the terrace, which is particularly comfortable. The location is also very convenient, only a few minutes walk from the Vigossack Railway Station, very close to the surrounding shops and restaurants, there is a Mediterranean restaurant next to the hotel, and there is no need to worry about eating. The staff is kind and welcoming, the service is very thoughtful, and the family-like atmosphere makes people feel at home.
