Set within the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, The Beacons is a historic former riverside farm offering free parking and freshly prepared breakfasts. Brecon’s center is just a 5-minute walk away across the River Usk Bridge.
The traditionally decorated rooms all feature a TV, free tea/coffee facilities and an private bathroom.
Breakfast is served in the dining room each morning using local and seasonal ingredients. Full Welsh breakfasts are available, along with a buffet table with fruit, juices, cereals and toast.

Beautiful stay here for my partner’s birthday and valentines weekend! Sophie and Neil were so incredible after I made an error with my booking and we had such a lovely welcome. The room was gorgeous and breakfast was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Had Sunday lunch today with a choice of different meats in the menu and as much vegetables as you want. Excellent food and very tasty. The staff very friendly and pleasant Highly recommended, Plenty of car park space Will be going back again.

Such a lovely stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner was full of amazing great local knowledge. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We all had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious and we would highly recommend the guesthouse.

Charming and well situated, and a stepping stone to our climb of the Pan Y Fan mountain, The Beacon’s Guest House is a well situated B&B. Furthermore, we invite all those coming through Brecon to stop for a day or two and visit this charming village. The Beacon’s Guest House is a good B&B home base, with a reasonable breakfast. We would suggest elevating the upkeep of this B&B, but overall it is a good venue… and it has its own parking (at the back). Good value for the price.

Joined a party of friends for the jazz festival 9th 10th and 11th of august at THE BEACONS 16 BRIDGE STREET BRECON , ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT LOTS OF DIFFERENT SIZED ROOMS ALL CLEAN AND TIDY LOVELY COMFY BEDS AND BRILLIANT STAFF OUR HOST WAS A YOUNG LADY CALLED SOPHIE WHO REMINDED US OF STACY FROM THE HIT TV SERIES CALLED GAVIN AND STACY A REAL DOWN TO EARTH BUBBLY CHARACTER SHE WOULD SOLVE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS AND HELP OUT WITH YOUR QUESTIONS AND ENQUIRIES AS WE SAY IN WALES A REAL DIAMOND, THE BREAKFEAST WAS LOVELY PLENTY OF TEA AND COFFEE ORANGE JUICE AND OTHER BEVERAGES ALSO WI,FI .WAS PRETTY GOOD ALSO TOILETS AND BATHROOM CLEAN AND TIDY I WILL DEFFINATELY BE GOING BACK OUTSTANDING FRIENDLY PEOPLE,DELYTH AND STEVE LLANELLI WALES.

Group of us stayed here for Jazz weekend , had a great welcome from Neil & Sophie. Nothing was too much trouble for them to make our stay comfortable. Our room was lovely , clean, bed was comfortable and a lovely breakfast in the morning. We shall be booking the Beacons on our next stay in Brecon 🙂

This was a beautiful guest house in a great location. Sophie, Neil and Lisa were wonderfully accommodating and friendly hosts. The room was clean and adorable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend if you are traveling in the area. We will be back and look forward to sitting at the bar.

Fabulous find in Brecon. Plenty of car parking available with direct access to our triple room. Our room was extremely clean and the bathroom was modern and sparklingly clean too. Breakfast was superb. Fresh fruits, yogurts, cereals plus full English breakfast using quality products. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

Just a great stay - superb value for money. Staff super helpful - breakfast was a feast and it’s great to see a new business getting off the ground with enthusiasm and customer care at the fore front - chatted to the owner who really wanted our views to help him improve. Highly recommend!
