Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge

Fantastic stay at the Marriott in Breckenridge. Pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen with an oven and full size refrigerator nicely stocked with dishes, pots, etc. The service was friendly and Angela at the desk took extra time to help me to keep my provisions cold while my room was being prepared and answered every question with a smile. The room was nicely appointed with a comfortable bed. I did not use the workout room or pool but glad they were there for a future stay. Great free underground parking and a lounge where I was able to get work done well after checkout. Well deserving of more than 4 stars!

Stayed one night on a Saturday, and all was smooth. Check-in was at 4 pm. The room was spacious with a full kitchen and table. The bathroom was big with a jetted tub. However, the shower water pressure was amazing. The bed was a little firm but still comfortable. No a/c, but there were fans and the screen door to allow fresh air. Parking was a small walk away inside, but nothing bad. The views were great from the room. The price was under $200, which was a steal. Would recommend.

We stayed here on our way from Colorado Springs to Vail. It was our first time in Breckenridge and we loved it. This Marriott was wonderful. Beds were comfortable, suite had plenty of room, and the pool and hot tubs (4) were great. It is located right next to the Breckenridge downtown area. They offer some activities for their guests.

Excellent location, well-appointed bedroom with fireplace, ski-in/ski-out to slopes. In the heart of Breckenridge, walking distance to dining and shops. Pleasant receptionists. Ski storage on site, parking garage nearby for safe car parking. Nice afternoon snacks and drinks provided. Multiple hot-tubs get filled up fast, but enjoyable after a day of skiing.

We cut our trip from 6 night to 3 because we were very disappointed & unable to sleep. First, you need to know that there is no A/C, so your only option in August is to open the windows & use the fans provided. Unfortunately, it was still too hot & impossible to sleep given the noise from the street, crying babies, garbage truck, etc, plus we couldn’t use the blackout blinds to reduce light from street & courtyard because they would restrict any air flow. I tried to sleep on the sofa close to the window using the folded cotton blanket from the closet, but the blanket had a 10” round yellow stain. There is no restaurant. No bar. The path to Main Street takes you by a very nasty, green algae contaminated pond. The weeds & crumbling concrete along this path around the hotel’s pool does not bode well for their care or cleanliness of the pool, so we didn’t dare use the pool or hot tubs. We will not return.

Highly recommended! We loved our stay in a one bedroom villa! The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and had so much space. It exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. We had a balcony overlooking Maggie Pond and the mountains. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around town. We enjoyed the pool, hot tubs, and activity room.

I stayed at Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge at Breckenridge on a ski vacation. This is a great resort right off the mountain with a very easy walk to the nearest chairlift. The room was a nice size for being a studio. No issues with room cleanliness or upkeep. The sofa bed was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on at a hotel unlike most that are barely adequate. I highly recommend this resort for a Breckenridge ski vacation.

Best beds, king-size bed with a great view of the mountain from the room. Clean and spacious. The one-bedroom condo has two full baths and sleeps 4. The kitchen has everything you need. The front desk staff was great at checking in. There is a Pool table in the activities room. Great location; walk to the main street. Great bars and happy hours. Weather is perfect in April for skiing and less crowded the week after Easter break.
