She always greeted us with a pleasant smile.She has kept the room in tiptop condition throughput our stay and has promptly and effectively handled each and every request of ours. We were particularly touched by her one small gesture, as illustrated in the little note she sent us (attached). We would appreciate it if our compliments about 郑惠川could be conveyed to the hotel management. We also noted the excellent location of the hotel in the old city of Quanzhou. Would strongly recommend the hotel for anyone who wish to explore the old city."

"The hotel directly oppsite a tall apartment and is alittle distance from the Wanda Plaza shopping mall, u need to passby a apartment then cross a busy junction to get to the opposite street, then walk abt 3min to the mall. Opposite the hotel, u can find Luckin coffee, fruits shop and mini marts, is quite convenient. We accessed the laundry room and gym in the hotel and find them good. Breakfast is nice and consists of good variety of local foods. The supper is not very nice though, the side dishes do not smells fresh and the porridge is watery, seems to leave there for quite sometimes. The customer services of reception and housekeeping are very good, we enjoyed the stay."

Perhaps we were biased coming from Kaipuu Belfry which was located in West Street so while Intercontinental was also about a 25 minutes pleasant walk from the estuary Harbor sites (Zhenwu Temple / WenxingGong) which are also UNESCO sites , nothing beats the location of the former hotel! Aesthetically, we were not fans of the multi color lighted facade at night but that's just a personal preference. Special mention to Fay of the front desk for good service."

I stayed in a river-view room on the 25th floor, which offers a truly magnificent view, especially in the evening. The mattress and bed linens are of excellent quality, ensuring a very comfortable night’s sleep. The hotel is not located in the city center, but it is still convenient and well connected: about 15 minutes from the city center and approximately 35–40 minutes by taxi from the high-speed train station. The only minor note is that the electrical plugs are Chinese-style only, so European plugs cannot be used. However, the room is equipped with USB and USB-C ports, which makes charging devices easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for comfort, cleanliness, staff and room quality"

Be it the porter, the receptionist, the concierge or even the staff standing outside the restaurant or the housekeeping staff I walked past. I would go back to the hotel anytime again, not just because of the affordable price but for the experience. Great job there! VVieraskäyttäjäAfter further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing. Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items. Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
