"Extremely close to the Longmen Luoyang train station. Turn right out of the station, cross under the overpass, and you'll see the green sign about 300m away. The property is modern and well maintained, with none of the state cigarette smell that Chinese hotels often have. The room was comfortable with plenty of outlets and even a mini fridge! Water pressure was good and TreSemme brand shampoo and conditioner were available.
Breakfast was good in both variety and quality. Vegan options included steamed corn, sweet potatoes, fruit, cold salad, braised tofu, and an oatmeal station with hot soymilk. There were also vegetable buns and youtiao but I don't know if those were vegan. Theres a basic gym and self-serve laundry room. It was nice to walk into the lobby after a cold day and warm up with the complimentary tea available.
A taxi to Longmen grottoes took about 15 minutes and cost 10元. A Didi to Shaolin temple took about 1 hour by expressway and cost 190元.
Overall I'd recommend this hotel and I would happily stay here again."

"Was very happy to find such a great modern hotel not far from Luoyang Longmen station.
Location: relatively not far from metro station, but if you would like to go by foot with luggage, be ready that the road is not luggage-friendly. Picked that location to be close to high-speed railway station, and it was very convenient to get there.
Breakfast: amazing, have all required types of food, everything is delicious.
Other conveniences: small sports gym and laundry room are very easy to use. On the first floor next to reception you will find free snacks and tea, that is very convenient.
Attractions: easy enough to get to main attractions of the city by public transport/taxi, didn’t have problems with it. Around hotel there is s lot of tasty restaurants.
Staff: people in the hotel are very friendly and can share information if needed.
Completely recommend this hotel."

1st. C - the location is a 50meter from the Metro Station—no restaurants around the Hotel. We need to take two stations from the hotel to the Mall where there are plenty of restaurants and Shopping.
2nd Cleanness
The room and the toilet are clean.
The room furniture is not tired-looking.
Towels are changed daily, and so are the shower Gels.
3rd Customer Service is helpful as they assist us in going around Tourist Sites via local Metro and Didi.
Overall, it is worth staying in Luoyang.
Recommend staying three nights in Luoyang. This hotel is highly recommended.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Everything was impeccably clean — from the rooms to the common areas. The reception team and service staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with any questions or requests I had.
The location is ideal — right in the heart of Luoyang and just a short walk from the metro, which made exploring the city super easy and stress-free.

"Special thanks to Ms. Rachel and Mr. Zhangwenyi for everything you have done for us from the first day we arrive until the last day we left. Ms. Rachel is so helpful and well managed. My friend left her mobile on the hotel's shuttle to Luoyang high speed train. Ms. Rachel quickly responded to WeChat immediately when I told her. She came by herself and RAN to give me a mobile that I was waiting for in front of the entrqnce. We got the mobile before the train left, on time. Totally 15 mins!! She saved us. I don't know how to say thank you to her. I really appreciate that.
We stayed at Mercure Luoyang Downtown for 3 nights. The room is super clean, the bed and pillows are so comfortable. The staff is friendly and speaks English well. Laundry is tidy, clean, and trendy. Breakfast is a variety, western and Chinese menu changes everyday. The location is walkable to shopping malls and park nearby. I'd like to give more than 5 stars if I can. We have a pleasure time .Highly recommend."

"This lovely hotel is as close as you can get to the Longmen Grottoes! Walk or take the hotel shuttle down the hill, and the river and grottoes are in front of you! Our room had great beds, 2 kinds of pillows (I love the buckwheat pillow, my friend prefers the regular pillow), cool air conditioning (it's hot in July), & excellent, powerful shower with high quality shampoo, etc. Although our Chinese language skills are poor, the staff were patient, helpful, & highly service-oriented, using apps to communicate with us. They explained the finer details of getting tickets to the grottoes & moving around the area. The extensive breakfast buffet was terrific, with a huge range of choices to satisfy all palates--I prefer Chinese breakfast foods, my friend prefers Western style breakfast. Both of us were full and happy, ready to climb all the stairs at the grottoes. It is necessary to mention the dinner restaurant at Dong Shang Hotel. It was excellent. Eggplant=100% fantastic! Cilantro salad=100% wow! I recommend their dinner restaurant even if you are not staying at their hotel."

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this accommodation in Luoyang. The location is excellent—close to the metro yet nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, making it convenient yet relaxing.
Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. However, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff’s genuine warmth and attentiveness. They didn’t just meet our needs—they went far beyond with heartfelt service.
For example, when we asked to reheat our takeaway food, they not only did so gladly but also presented it beautifully on a plate and delivered it to our room like complimentary room service. Another time, we forgot our clothes in the dryer, and the staff didn’t just collect them—they pressed and neatly hung everything in our room! These small but thoughtful gestures made us feel incredibly well taken care of.
If you’re looking for a place with great location, clean and spacious rooms, and service that comes from the heart, we couldn’t recommend this accommodation more highly. It’s the kind of hospitality that turns a good trip into a truly special one!

She even arranged her staff to take us to the pick up point as we had to leave early the next day. It’s a pity that we stayed for one night as we had to rush back to Xi’an. Wished we had stayed longer! Definitely recommended place to stay in Luoyang

NNicDThis is a very nice hotel which is great value for money. The location is great, just around the corner from a large mall (Wangfujing) and lots of restaurants nearby. I especially recommend the little place with 'Chinese Hamburger' on the sign on the road behind the hotel building - they have an English menu and do great roujiamo - they even have a vegetarian 'sujiamo'! We got an upgrade on check in and the room was spacious and comfortable. The cleaners and reception staff were generally polite and helpful. The breakfast was Chinese but was fresh, different every day, and any food that ran out at busy times was always quickly replenished. The free laundry was very convenient and the machines were easy to use. We did have two issues which made staying there a bit inconvenient though. The first was that when the underground car park was full cars could no longer get past the barrier, meaning they couldn't drive up to reception. This was a problem since the road outside was flooded and meant that we had to load and unload suitcases while standing in deep puddles in the pouring rain. The second issue was the keycards: every day we would come back to our room and the keycard wouldn't work. We complained at reception every single day about this issue but it was never resolved.

The room was very very nice...the washroom had a bit of a smell in the morning but it happens sometimes in hotels in china (we've experienced it several times in the past). It wasn't anything having the fan on that couldn't solve and the fan was quiet so didn't bother us.
The bottled teas in the room taste so good! The shower had good water pressure too. One thing I have to say is atour's pillow is the best I've ever slept on that I took the pillow to the front desk and asked them what exact pillow that was so I could purchase and bring home right away. I slept so well throughout.
One night, it suddenly rained so much in Luoyang that all my clothes and shoes were drenched. I only had one pair of shoes and had to go to Shaolinsi the next day early morning...I was able to wash and dry all the clothes...and they helped find a way to dry my shoes in time too! I am sooo grateful or else I would have no idea what to do if my shoes were wet and I had 3 more days to explore.
The beef soup shop next to the hotel was also a good option for breakfast! Truly loved our stay!

Way beyond our expectations. Nice bath tub, shower room, projector TV, coffee machine with complimentary cookies and fruits and complimentary drinks in mini-bar. Robot delivering bottled water when requested. Absolutely love the hotel and wish we stayed longer. We will book this hotel again if we visit Luoyang.
Chinese Restaurant had tremendous value. Delicious 9 course dinner including steam fish and lobster, taste really good. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant on both nights. The first night we were thoroughly impressed with the private dining room with ensuite toilet.
Breakfast with good international selection of Chinese and Western options.
Definitely the best hotel of our 2 weeks stay in China. Now we have a great impression of Luoyang because of the hotel.
Only feedback is that it will be good if the toilet and bathroom lights can be separate so that at night when sleeping, guests can just switch on the toilet light and leave the rest of the room dark. Current dim light switch leaves bathroom still quite bright and glaring when sleeping. Other than this minor point, this hotel really wonderful and definitely a great hotel to stay in Luoyang!

The resort is beautiful and secluded, away from all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Luoyang while remaining accessible. The location is very convenient to the high speed rail station, Longmen Grottoes, Guang Lin Temple and Peony Museum. It’s a bit further away to get to White Horse Temple, Lintang Gate and Luoyi Ancient City. However, the hotel offers a very convenient and comfortable private shuttle for train/airport transfer and a daily trips to or from town.
Above all, I have to commend the team at this hotel for their excellent service and extremely friendly attitude. Everyone went out of their way to offer assistance for any of our needs and always with a smile. A huge bonus - they offered a complementary same-day laundry service which we used several times during our stay taking care of a major hassle on extended travels. From the reception, front desk, porters, drivers and housekeepers, we received top notch service rivalling hotels we’ve stayed at worldwide.
The breakfast also deserves special mention. The selection was not as extensive as buffets at some major hotels but the quality was excellent and we found it to be more than enough to start each day before sightseeing. In addition to a small self serve area, you can order large bowls soup or noodles and they also provide a beautiful tray of delicacies. We very much enjoyed each day’s breakfast.
Finally, the room we stayed in, with a private hot spring tub and private patio was spacious, clean, modern and beautiful. We enjoyed use the tub after full days of sightseeing to ease aching muscles and the bed was very comfortable. On our final night, we did experience a problem with a light switch not turn lights but the staff were quick to provide us another room so we could get to sleep. Another great example of their dedication to quality service.
Overall, I was very pleased to have discovered this beautiful gem in Luoyang and it made our visit to this wonderful city that much more special and memorable.

The receptionist , Ms Chang Ming Ming was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. She was so kind and help us with online wechat booking of the tickets to the Yongmen grottoes, saving us the time to queue at the ticket counter.
The breakfast was simply sumptuous (Chinese breasfast) - worth every bit of the 40 Yuan! . I especially appreciated the freshness and quality of the food.
The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. Every corner was spotless, and the room was impeccably maintained, which made for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
Additionally, the location couldn't be more convenient. The hotel is just a five-minute walk to the Yongmen Grottoes entrance making it perfect for anyone planning to explore this beautiful historic site.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. It's the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service!

SSam Le ChiqAs a hotel I would give it approximately between four and 4.3 stars out of five. It's not a fancy hotel but the service especially of the front desk is very good. They are very helpful and friendly. In fact they helped me with photocopying some important documents and it's not their job and they didn't charge me any money for it.
The cleaning staff is very thorough and they work very hard but they can be a little loud sometimes talking to each other in the hallway. But as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk they took care of it right away. So I really appreciate that.
Also, the first room they gave me didn't smell very good. It was a little musky possibly because of guests who are smokers. As soon as I mentioned it to the front desk they gave me another room which was much better. Very clean, very comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was Very warm. Also the heating system works very well. It keeps the room nice and warm in the winter. I would like to mention that the hot water shower faucet is extremely good. There's always hot water 24 hours a day to have a nice comfortable shower.
I highly recommend this hotel.

JJosh_mnWe had a great experience staying in the room type with two large beds and one bunker bed. We booked this room kinda expecting the bunker bed to excite our 4 and 7 yo and it definitely proved so. Room is clean, AC is great. The breakfast (made free with a trip.com promotion) is quite a treat. Even some might prefer hot coffee but honestly I cannot complain much with the offer of a hard boiled egg, two potstickers, one pcs of corn, millet congee, etc. The staffs are all responsive and ready to help with request like additional towels/bottled water/breakfast food. The owners had a friendly puppy called “fanfan”on site too. At the end of our trip one of the co-owners used his motorcycles to carry a heavy suitcase to the place we booked our taxi and as we can see they ride people to metro station as well. The location is just a short (maybe 100m) walk from the South Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. We took a night walking into Luoyi Ancient City from the north gate after eating dinner in one of the busiest places known for its street food and getting out of South Gate knowing the hotel is just minutes away. Would definitely recommend this one to others who want to stay near Luoyi Ancient City area.
