Hotellit aamiaisella kohteessa Kunshan

Overall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour. The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat. So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process. You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance. I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom. There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers. The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs. We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy. When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

I am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me. The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs. Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful. Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy. As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels. In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

Very new Hotel, location just opposite of shopping mall. It easy to get Taxi to get around, also not too far away from Kunshan South.

Our time at Hotel Zhaoye was lovely! The homestay staff were kind, communicative, and accommodating. They offered Chinese and Western breakfast options, including meatless options for vegetarians. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. The location of the homestay was perfect for those visiting Zhaozhuang. The staff recommended local restaurants and activities. It was easiest to communicate via Weixin/Wechat or in-person. Would recommend!

If you need to be in Kunshan, this is a decent place. I booked it because it was close to a place I was going for a meeting and in a lot of ways it's a pretty standard high end business hotel in a non first tier city. But there were some nice surprises like a bath tub the room and it had some of the fastest internet access I've had the pleasure of using in China (which was great for a multi-hour video conference I had that night with Europe). Bed was firm but not a board, good pillows. Decent selection for breakfast the next morning but the coffee was a bit weak so the Starbucks around back if the building or the Luckin a block away (if you're a Luck in fan) were good to know about. Not a lot of dining within walking distance but a couple kilometers up the road over near Duke Kunshan there were some interesting dining options including decent pizza and Southeast Asian food.

Tucked inside Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, this boutique hotel perfectly blends classical charm with modern comfort. Because it’s located within the scenic zone, you may need to park outside and walk in—but once you arrive, it’s pure tranquility. In short, Zhouzhuang Scholars Boutique Hotel is elegant, peaceful, and full of character. Ideal for couples, families, and anyone wanting to truly experience the beauty of Zhouzhuang. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a nice weekend stay at Hualuxe. The hotel is very beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-staffed. Check-in was easy and we could communicate with staff in English. The hotel was kind to upgrade our room and left a small cake and some decorations in our room to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Very easy to walk from the hotel to the nearest metro station as well as around the local area.

Very good hotel located next to Kunshan exhibition center.Huge Lobby with modern look.Check in and check out was easy.Room was clean and spacious.Bathroom was very comfortable.Shower pressure was very good.My room number was 1222.Breakfast was very good with too many options.Dinner buffet at 158 yuan was a great plus.It was a superb buffet with varieties of food options.Hot pot, sea food, Chinese food,live counter for fish,prawns,steak etc,Western food and desserts.It was a great dinner. The hotel campus is very spacious and mainly foreigners come when there is an expo at Kunshan.I was there for COFAIR 2025. Overall my stay was very comfortable with good wifi. Just off the road there is a lake with a well organized park.Its very good to go for a walk.

I really like this hotel, it is already the third time I come here and for good reasons. It has a little something special then the regular tipical hotels offer. Like the nespresso coffee, or the soft comfy pillows for example. Positively to mention is the staff. Speak good English and very friendly, like Jessie or David Wei for example. David not only speaks very good English, but threw in a free upgrade for me which made me feel special. The suite of the hotel is very spacious and offer plenties. Highlight of this hotel, what I don't find anywhere else for this budget is the wellness area. Big pool, outstanding gym with TRX and body workout equipment. Best, however is the sauna with a cold plunge. A cold water plunge is almost impossible to find in other hotels, unless you are waaaaay in higher budget. So for those out there practicing sauna + cold plunge, this is with no doubt your choice.
