Need to improve bits:
The bathtub needs to be improved. No way to lie down and the click on drain button is right under the bum that means when you sit on the button and move a tiny bit the water will start to drain. Very anti human design."

"The hotel has everything to have a great journey. It's clean, the room are spacious and beautiful. I had always get a warm welcome from the employees at the entrance. I stayed 2 weeks there.
The breakfast is great with many choices.
The gym has everything you need but some equipments are a bit old or in bad condition. It can be busy the evening.
Also there is a mall next, with many restaurants inside. And a massage center in front by crossing the street (foot massage must be tried during your stay)
Laundry service is really expensive (I paid around 80 USD for a small size machine)"

"第一次入住該酒店，作為雅高旗下的諾富特品牌，應屬國際四星全服務酒店了，雖然硬件設施還不錯，酒店比較新，但服務標準連經濟型的宜必思都趕不上！當天我回到店已經很晚了，凌晨1點多我下樓跑到前台要兩個一次性杯子，前台當時衹有一名員工，當時正好有一位walk in客人在前台想要找房間的客人，在與服務員核實房間號和客人身份，其實提供兩個一次性杯子很快，前台服務員就讓我在一邊足足等了七八分鐘，等她與客房通完電話告知對方樓下有人要上樓找，然後再等他為來訪者做身份登記，最後還得等她把來訪者送進電梯為其刷好門禁後再返回前台給我拿紙杯。可見前台員工缺乏培訓，衹會一對一死板式服務，不懂得服務的兼顧性和靈活性！更無法理解的是當脱了衣服要洗澡時，打開客用品盒傻眼了！盒子裏衹放了兩把牙刷，其他的低值易耗品都沒有！沒有浴帽！沒有梳子！什麼都沒有！我致電到前台，前台服務員居然回答客房衹配牙刷，這是標準！其他的客用品都衹能客人要了再讓客房部送！還説這是當地政府部門規定的！不讓放！我也無語了！同樣在江蘇崑山，政府部門就衹對你這家酒店有這樣苛刻的限制要求？連梳子都不給放，最好讓每位客人第二天離店時都披頭散髮？另外，本想四星的涉外酒店，餐飲應該配套吧！本打算中午邀請客户和朋友，可當我問前台員工，中餐廳有包房營業嗎？回答我的卻是中餐包房有，但必須提前一天預訂，當天想用餐還不行！無奈衹能外面找地方解決！哎！總之這家諾富特酒店在經營方面或許僅處於試營業！大堂吧區域也沒有正常的服務業態，衹能作為賓客閑坐休息區！"

"Again, it's a cute little hotel, exactly likey last review said. No changes in that regard. However, this time we were given a room with a hallway view (an outside window looking into the wall of the building about a meter away from the hotel's). I went to complain to the reception, but the receptionist had difficulty understanding what my complaint was (as the room did have a window). After asking for a room with an actual window out into the street, she said that that room needs an upgrade (despite our previous room from 3 days ago not needing it). And after a few back and forth she decided ”to give me the upgrade for free”. The new room was exactly the same as the previous one, except that the window opened into the street, so I'm having difficulty understanding why this was a 10min process... The room was modern yet again, very clean, the cleaning staff was beyond polite, however, I must note that this room had a vending machine for sex-related items, which may not be the most ideal thing if you're coming for a family stay (so maybe ask beforehand at the reception if there's that in your room). The breakfast has a large selection, and is good (the only note is that the drink choices should be better and not so artificial)."

"What tops the list for me is the friendly staff.They go out of their way to help.I would like to specifically mention front desk manager Mr Bruce, who tried his best to get some vegetarian food at odd times. He even came with me to restaurant leaving his front deak to find an option.That's something beyond my expectation. Room is very clean.Restaurant is pretty good with several options for breakfast. In my room, AC effect was not good.They immediately try to rectify and also offered fan in the room. I am sure will stay in this hotel whenever I come to Kunshan."

HHalf Gwailo ABCOverall an enjoyable and relaxing one night stay at this tiny cosy hotel in Zhouzhuang, for our final leg of our 6 days Suzhou trip. We took a didi over to Zhouzhuang, which was faster and cheaper than I expected, just a little over half an hour.
The hotel staff called me the day before to arrange for pick-up near the watertown ticket office. Actually I can't speak Mandarin and their English wasn't too good but we ended up chatting on Wechat as Wechat has a built-in translate function in their chat.
So, 15 minutes before we arrive, we just had to let them know on Wechat. And the staff is already waiting for us, helped us with the luggage and guided us through the ticket buying process.
You do have to pay for the ¥100 RMB ticket to get into the watertown and the ticket is good for 3 days. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the entrance.
I picked this hotel because it was right inside the watertown and it had the ancient Chinese interior, although all the amenities are modern, including a robust and high-tech Kohler smart toilets in each bathroom.
There is a nice coffee shop inside the hotel and the coffee shop owner is friendly and takes his coffee craft seriously. The hotel gives you 2 free drinks during your stay and the coffee menu is quite extensive. If the hotel rooms are not booked on that day, we are told the hotel opens their doors to coffee customers.
The hotel owner is actually younger than I expected so I am impressed she meticulously created this authentic experience and the attention to detail. She was friendly and helpful and was open to accommodating our needs.
We booked the entire 2nd floor, which was 3 bedrooms and we had 6 adults in our group. This tiny hotel only has 3 bedrooms so if you booked all 3 rooms, you pretty much get the entire hotel to yourselves which include the first floor which is spacious and comfy.
When I visit Zhouzhuang again, I am looking forward to stay here again. It's certainly not cheap, but you do get what you pay for - which is people passionate about hospitality (in a Chinese way) and also a hygiene and staying experience that is certainly up to international standards.

VVieraskäyttäjäI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me.
The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs.
Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful.
Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy.
As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels.
In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

They offered Chinese and Western breakfast options, including meatless options for vegetarians. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. The location of the homestay was perfect for those visiting Zhaozhuang. The staff recommended local restaurants and activities. It was easiest to communicate via Weixin/Wechat or in-person. Would recommend!

I booked it because it was close to a place I was going for a meeting and in a lot of ways it's a pretty standard high end business hotel in a non first tier city. But there were some nice surprises like a bath tub the room and it had some of the fastest internet access I've had the pleasure of using in China (which was great for a multi-hour video conference I had that night with Europe). Bed was firm but not a board, good pillows. Decent selection for breakfast the next morning but the coffee was a bit weak so the Starbucks around back if the building or the Luckin a block away (if you're a Luck in fan) were good to know about. Not a lot of dining within walking distance but a couple kilometers up the road over near Duke Kunshan there were some interesting dining options including decent pizza and Southeast Asian food.

BBH88This hotel feels more like a homestay, and the owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. Since we were running late and only arrived around 7pm, he kindly called to check on us and even came to pick up all four of us along with our four 26” luggage. He also provided the same drop-off service during check-out, which we really appreciated.
Breakfast was simple but served hot, which was especially comforting during the winter season. The hotel has a charming antique style, and the room has been renovated with modern features such as an automatic flushing toilet.
Overall, there isn’t much to expect in terms of luxury, but the warm hospitality made our stay very pleasant. I would recommend it to travelers looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay.

The hotel campus is very spacious and mainly foreigners come when there is an expo at Kunshan.I was there for COFAIR 2025.
Overall my stay was very comfortable with good wifi.
Just off the road there is a lake with a well organized park.Its very good to go for a walk.

DDima DiI really like this hotel, it is already the third time I come here and for good reasons. It has a little something special then the regular tipical hotels offer. Like the nespresso coffee, or the soft comfy pillows for example.
Positively to mention is the staff. Speak good English and very friendly, like Jessie or David Wei for example. David not only speaks very good English, but threw in a free upgrade for me which made me feel special. The suite of the hotel is very spacious and offer plenties.
Highlight of this hotel, what I don't find anywhere else for this budget is the wellness area. Big pool, outstanding gym with TRX and body workout equipment. Best, however is the sauna with a cold plunge. A cold water plunge is almost impossible to find in other hotels, unless you are waaaaay in higher budget.
So for those out there practicing sauna + cold plunge, this is with no doubt your choice.
