"Lavande Hotel is one of the nicest hotels in Kaiping. The hotel has been opened since 2018; still somewhat relatively new. We booked a room for three people, and we were provided with a two bedroom unit. Excellent condition; comfortable beds and shower facilities. Cleaning service was excellent as they provided extra bottles of water and tea bags to consume. Situated in a location with many restaurants and shops. A mall is within walking distance. Highly recommend staying at Lavande Hotel when staying in Kaiping"

"The hotel was designed around a 1920s theme and was super interesting. The staff were super attentive via wechat and in person and made sure every element of the stay was great. The hotel is themed around a ****** mystery that you can opt into playing (or not)."

"1. Check-in Process Great, a few minor questions but was very smooth experience and process. Friendly check-in procedure and follow-up. 2. Restaurant Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to have breakfast, but hopefully next time. 3. Rooms Very clean rooms and well prepared. The cleaners did a great job too. 4. Air Con and Amenities in the Room Temperature controlled remote and good basic amenities for stay which is refilled during daily cleaning procedure when asked. 5. Laundry They have a self-service laundry, which is very good and helpful. They even provide small amount of detergents for cleaner clothes. The bonus is also the dryer machine that comes with it. 6. Check-out Very quick and smooth. 7. Location Good location which is near local shopping small if you want to do some small shopping or have a quick bite or tea/coffee break. Feedback / Improvements for attracting more foreigners (Tourists) / Businesses (My opinion) 1. Basic/Simple English in front-desk would be helpful, but not important. 2. Translation on Laundry Instructions (self-service) can be helpful or pre-recorded video to help elderly or first-time visitors the correct procedures. 3. Restaurants to open not only for breakfast but option for different hours (such as afternoon/evening) but for short duration ordering time-period. Even though location is superb for local shopping mall, it would be great to experience afternoon/evening meal in the hotel and/or in-room dining services in the future (if it becomes popular). 4. Ironing board. There is a self service ironing but can be helpful to have an ironing board within the room, especially great experience with washing and drying clothes. However ironing clothes individually requires time and the ironing which is shared in the communal area can be time consuming if it is popular in demand during the time of use. Overall, definitely superb hotel for the price and cleanliness. There is room for improvements but nevertheless, the experience and my stay there was nice."

They were very proactive in solving any issues that came up, making the whole experience smooth and comfortable. "The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's 5 mins walking distance to almost everything (drink, food, supermarket, massage etc.) However the hotel facilities are getting a little bit aged compared to my stay couple years ago and the room felt quite humid and a little bit odd smell."

"Rong'an sijaitsee hyvin lähellä Pohjoisporttia, ja sijaitsee vieressä sisar, Cheng Shen hotelli. Todellakin, sisään-/ ulostulo on tehty Cheng Shen, ja aamiainen on myös siellä. Olemme kahden hengen standardihuoneessa 5. kerroksessa No.3 Rong'an rakennuksessa. Kun me sisään, etuosasto henkilöstö oli erittäin hyödyllinen käyttää englanti käännös sovellus (Emme puhu kiinaa), ja käveli kanssamme huoneessa, koska No. 3 rakennuksen sisäänkäynti on hieman vaikea löytää takana Cheng Shen rakennuksen. "The room was spacious and clean, plenty of room for 2 people with extra amenities such as kitchen available. The breakfast is in a separate hotel next door, it’s quite basic and Chinese food only, but generally alright. The staff at the reception was friendly and would go out of their way to help with any questions. As for the location, it’s quite central with lots of food places around. Overall, a solid spot."

"I selected this hotel because its package specifically featured two live performances held inside Chikan Ancient Town, and indicated that tickets for these shows could be collected at the hotel front desk—implying that the package included special VIP tickets for both events. However, upon check-in, the receptionist informed me that the hotel does not provide any special tickets for the two shows to its guests. If I wished to secure VIP seating for the fire show, I would need to pay an additional fee at the venue entrance. This constitutes a clear misrepresentation. Had the hotel package not prominently highlighted these two performances and stated that tickets could be picked up at the front desk, I would not have chosen this hotel for my trip. Although the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quite spacious, the overall service level of the staff was merely average."
