"I was in Victoria for a conference at the Conference Center, and Chateau Victoria's location couldn't have been better! Perfect walking distance with great stops for coffee, lunch, or dinner along the way. The Chateau staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with all questions I had and you HAVE to visit the restaurant, Vista 18. There isn't a bad seat in the house with windows overlooking the town in all directions. My server, Scott, gave a fantastic dinner choice (halibut) which ranks in one of the top 10 meals I've ever had! Excellent wine and cocktail choices as well as desserts - as tasty as they are visually delightful. My room had everything I needed including a Nespresso and a small fridge. I WILL BE BACK! 5 stars."

"Fairmont seems to be a luxurious five star hotel. Nevertheless it’s a bit over-expected. The room is very small, and the toilet can only be used by one single person each time, which is very inconvenient if you go with young kids. High tea quality is unexpectedly low, the environment is good but the staff are not enough. The food is simply not delicate for such a renowned five star restaurant."

"The service staff was very friendly, which I appreciated. But there are a lot of homeless people nearby, which is disturbing. The room has no ventilation, seems to have not been cleaned, and the facilities are also very poor. Since I booked the hotel at the last minute and the price was not high, I accepted it. The hotel has two locks, but the odd tenant is a little unsettling. Thank you very much to the receptionist for changing me to a more suitable room! If I were given a choice again, I would not choose this hotel. I still appreciate every service member's help. Breakfast is a simple buffet with hard-boiled eggs, toast and juice. Dinner was simple rice with sauce on top. There are many supermarkets nearby. You can choose to go shopping on your own, but be sure to avoid the hordes of homeless people."

We took Uber direct from Victoria Airport to hotel only 37 mins. Connector bus terminal just right at the corner which we took on the way back direct to Vancouver Airport.
It is right at the center of downtown, walking distance can reach major Victoria's key tourist destinations and very accessible to many eateries nearby.
The hotel is clean and simple, but not too many facilities. Only have one Starbucks and a Pizza corners serving breakfast and pizza in evening. But with the accessible location, its all good. I will definitely return since its really a convenient location with value for money room rate."

"This was a nightmarish trip, 1st I had asked for a room on the highest floor possible, with a view of the Harbour, I am a photographer and made the trip to Victoria to get some great photos of the inner Harbour. I got a room on tenth floor overlooking the parking lot and side street. The windows were so dirty it was hard to see anything, in my eyes I was ripped off, I am not going to to stay at any Merriott hotels, at the time of my booking it said they had a buffet breakfast and when I arrived they told me there is no buffet breakfast just a restaurant on site, parking was said to be free self parking. I was charged $29.40 / night to self park my truck."

The location is very convenient for accessing various tourist attractions. Directly across the street, you'll find ramen, Subway, Burger King, and several other dining options. It's just a 5-minute walk to Government Street and a shopping mall. The hotel offers a complimentary premium coffee and hot chocolate maker for guests.
Although breakfast is not included, you can enjoy delicious meals at The Ruby, a well-rated restaurant conveniently situated next to the lobby.
If you plan to cook, the nearest grocery Supermart, located 1.2 km away.
The Prime of Whale booking site is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
From Hotel to Swartz bay ferries terminal bus ride is 1hr, avoid 430pm to 6pm may takes up to 90mins to reach.

Imagine staying at grandma's house, where everything is taken care of and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and soak up the cozy atmosphere. We stayed on the second floor, and I'd like to point out that this hotel does not have an elevator. This hotel has a recreation room, a small restaurant attached to the main house, an outdoor seating area for breakfast, a small bar, and a gift shop. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We had an excellent stay. The location of the hotel is also important to consider. It is a short walk from downtown Victoria, where the main shopping street is located.

VVieraskäyttäjäA very cozy place where you feel like at home, the friendly staffs is a great catch, the 2 girls who started at 5 am preparing your breakfast always carry a sweet smile that makes you day with great start, Gloria and Darren always take the extra mile to make suggestions for places to visit and dine caring to your preferences, the man in charge, Sam, really impressed me how far they go to make a conventional hotel business with great concern to being Green, the team there makes it different from the others and I would recommend anyone who is visiting Victoria to book yourself couple of nights there

VVieraskäyttäjäTop notch service. Corner suite on the 6th floor had a killer view of the harbor and parliament building. Walking distance from restaurant and the BC museum. Really appreciated having a sitting space separate from the bedroom.
Everything was very nice but room not newly remodeled. Nonetheless, looking forward to an opportunity to stay there again.
Major flaw was the pool, sauna area was part of an attached gym. Not the spa experience I had hoped for.

VVieraskäyttäjäI felt it was odd that they didn't provide free parking with their rooms at such a remote location. There is a pool next door available for about $45 however it closes at 7pm on Friday and Saturday. It appears on the website it is included but there is a link showing the costs.
There is no shopping yet in the location. The pro shop did not have any medium or large ladies shirts available and I couldn't see any golf balls with Bear Mountain Logo.
The room and view were amazing. Staff was wonderful. They played soft music in the restaurant in the evening. We enjoyed the hot tub outside in the garden. Go there to golf; bike or quiet time.

BBeimeitanxianjia房間衞生還可以，但比較簡陋，沒有熱水壺，衹有最簡單的咖啡機，讓人驚訝的是，竟然連瓶裝水都沒有提供。前台印度小哥，辦入住也很慢，問了各種訊息輸入電腦後，最後竟然給我個表格讓我把剛才的訊息再填寫一遍，這入住效率在加拿大確實第一次遇見。現在是淡季，空房很多，竟然給我安排了一個緊靠電梯的房間，我説能否換一間，他説那就要加錢升級，徹底無語了。總之感受很一般，不推薦。

GGabriel Huiphenomenal experience at this amazing hotel. All the staff were so sweet and amazing. The indian front desk consoled us in the middle of the night at 4am when we thought the hotel was ******* (it wasn’t’t it’s just us). The hotel offered free gummy bears in the lobby, and when we asked for more, they gave us a whole bag!!! (1 kg, selling for 13 bucks on amazon) The gummies are also such good quality they melt right in my mouth when you put them in. The amenities are so chic and high quality i could eat a child. (my friend typed this idk what she meant) The kitchen equipment is also quite well. The staff also helped us scared a ghost away, we slept like a baby the second night after bathing in the tub. no ac was a bunmer tho.🤞🤞😩😩
