"Good value, right in the CBD which is good for first time visitors. Amenities are average and during my visit in December, there was a lot of renovation work during the day so it was a bit noisy especially when my room was right next to the renovation zone."

"The location is superb. It located right at the CBD. Very easy to get around. The service was fast especially the check in process. We arrived early and got check in very fast. We complain about the cleanliness and staff was attentive upon the request we made. The staff were very nice.We got a free upgrade from 13th floor to 21st floor. The downside is that the bedsheet and pillowcase change was very slow and we waited until 11 pm even though we made request before 4 pm. The free buffet is also very average."

"The location so convenient,near to Brisbane international airport. We booked 2bedrooms and stayed 1night before our departure flight on the next day. We like the place ,so clean and comfort for us. "The hotel is rather nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious but in the evening might be a bit dark. There’s a gym, pretty small (I didn’t workout there personally). The location is great, easy to get to subway station or some other places like parks or gardens.
In general, I was satisfied with my stay there."

"Excellent location in heart of the city. 20 mins train ride from Airport to Central Station. 10 mins walk the from Central station to Hotel. The 10 mins walk you can preview what to do, shop, eat in the heart of the city. Also less than 10 mins walk further down you'll reach the riverside. I chose this hotel for the amazing INDOOR pool so I can swim indefinitely without getting burned, There is a skylight above the 1/3 of the pool which gives perfect and not too strong sun light. All linens are white and clean. Water pressure is good. AC is adequate. Nothing to complaint."

"Stayed here for 2 nights. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was clean and tidy. The food at G floor was delicious and reasonably priced (had the lunch deal). Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
The downsides are that,
1) the hotel is situated on top of a hill and getting there on foot with luggage wasn't great (budget traveller). I definitely would recommend uber-ing there despite its prime location to the city central, especially if you've got heavy or lots of luggage.
2) the walls are relatively thin and in the wee hours of the morning, I heard people running around the hallway and talking loudly which woke me up from my sleep (and I'm not a light sleeper). On another separate occasion, I also overheard a conversation from the next-door occupant, who was speaking loudly over the phone for over an hour. A little annoyed by the noise but otherwise everything else was a good experience!"

"Stayed here for our anniversary and it was surprisingly pleasant and awesome. Staff were genuinely attentive and meet our needs, and room service was excellent throughout the stay. The hotel sits right above Central Station with direct internal access, super convenient with escalators linking straight to the street level. Room size was nice, bed comfy, though I do wish more lighting to make room a bit brighter. Still, the overall vibe felt premium without being stiff. Great base for exploring the city, and we felt well taken care of from check-in to check-out."

But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room
Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to
Card then said she would come out and make sure it worked as I said the night before man had to come

Went back into get then came out .. followed me down then gave me a card .. I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10
Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming
She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues
Not sure what or how I was uograded as the room was smaller and no window as in first room

HHorgeSuch a classic old hotel, with gorgeous views and spacious rooms and bathrooms. The location is convenient, with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and it is right next to the river and gardens.
The only negative was though we had a great check in experience, it was very inconsistent across our group. Despite 2pm check-in, one couple still didn’t have a room at 3.15pm.
I’d stay again to check out the facilities as we didn’t have time on this occasion.

VVieraskäyttäjäThe hotel is within 10-15 minutes walk to the CBD area, and 6 minutes walk to the Woolworths supermarket, which we found very convenient. The car parking cost $25 per night with limited in and out, for close to CBD I think that’s quite a reasonable pricing. We stayed for 5 nights and extended our stay for another 2 nights there after, the only time they did not clean the room is on Sunday cuz we woke up too late and the cleaning service already went home. Other than that they always keep our room very clean, which we really appreciate. I am a big tea drinker and they always refill my tea :) we love the complimentary buffet style breakfast (western style with fruits, yogurt, toast, croissants, muffins, eggs, sausages, and bacon, coffee, tea, cereals) although we always miss it because they open at 7 am on weekends and 6:30 am on weekdays and we have to leave around 6:40 am most of our stay except the last 3 days. However I love their service, the hotel manager, Dilansh is amazing, during my stay the washing machine and dryer were both under maintenance and she were able to point out where I can do my laundry (10 mins walk) and she were able to refund my future stay because I decided to find another place with the laundry service. Everyone very helpful including the restaurant staff who gave me a take away box for us to take the fruit for breakfast even when it wasn’t 7am yet. I am very grateful for that. The TV in the hotel support chrome cast so you can watch anything from your phone in the big screen. They have a small fitness room and laundry room.

KKei.missingLiving Room bar is a must to visit !! Tony and his colleagues were super hospitable, mixed us most of the menu items, and our favourites were the Beet-ness and Espresso 2.0. We stayed for only the one night on the 19th floor and thought the view at night was great. Waking up to see so much of Brisbane in the morning was a real surprise. Breakfast Buffet menu options were vast, however we chose from the à la carte menu paired with some fantastic coffees to start the day.

MMatteomI’d give a solid 9.5/10 to this hostel. Everything is great, staff is amazing - very friendly and welcoming, everyday there is an event and they are always nice, location is perfect - walking distance to all major points in the city and very close to public transports (both greyhound busses stop and train station for the airport). Guests are great too and this is a very social hostel - but fortunately not a party one. Perfect to make new friends but also to get some good sleep in a quiet place. Toilets in the rooms are a bit old and the cleanliness is not excellent but still good.
Highly recommended if you want to spend some good time in Brisbane in great social hostel.

I observed that great care was taken of people checking in to stay who would be going to the hospitals local to the area.
Check-in was so easy, and the reception staff was very kind. Things I loved:
* the included healthy breakfast,
* free on-site parking
*Ferrari in the reception area (no idea why it's there, and I'm no car enthusiast, but it is a classy touch)
* very friendly and kind staff
* neat and good layout of room
* comfortable bed
* good air conditioning
* friendly people throughout the building
* walking distance to Chermside shopping centre
* excellent price
Thing I didn't like as much:
* not really sound-proofed, you sometimes hear sounds from other rooms and hallways
* the balcony area did have a bit of a smell in the early evening, dissuading me from eating outside until later on - this might have just been the day I stayed. It was nice enough later to leave the door open and have a bit of a breeze while sleeping.
Highly recommended.
