We're the same distance from the Freeport Train Station with fast links to Stansted Airport and Greater London. Business guests are also well placed here. Retail might be less on your mind though if you're on the guest list at wedding venues The Fennes, Gosfield Hall and Leez Priory. Or if you fancy history at Hedingham Castle or some outdoor fun at Great Notley Country Park. Whatever brings you to Braintree, enjoy all the comforts you'd expect including an onsite restaurant, a spacious room and a comfy bed.

這邊確實交通方便環境也不錯，到附近周圍地點都算方便，下次還會選擇來這邊入住，而且早餐也算豐富，很不錯吃

Excellent stay, staff can’t do enough for you. Very welcoming on arrival, friendly and can have a good laugh with them. Breakfast was superb, not all PI do good poached eggs but I have to say mine were done to perfection here. Look forward to my next stay here.

Excellent service from reception to house keeping. We we were asked if we wanted to move before we arrived due to refurbishment. We decided to stay anyway and the disturbance is down to a minimum. Breakfast was very good. Kitchen and and dining staff very attentive.

We were the one of the 1 st guest since they have had a refurbishment, the rooms we had were very nicely decorated, bed was extremely comfy, there were extra pillows etc if you needed them, had the usually amenities, tea, coffee, tv hanging space and hangers, and plenty of plug sockets. Bathroom had shower/bath, toilet etc, . Breakfast was good value for a unlimited breakfast and good choice of foods available. I would definetly would return to this hotel and would recommend, it's located very near to freeport shopping, and near to wedding venues in nearby Coggeshall and Pattiswick.

The hotel is standard, exactly what you can expect. The staff is excellent! They make the children feel very welcome and special, but also the other guests! I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a standard clean hotel with good service!

Fabulous staff - polite, friendly and very welcoming. Accessible wet room flooring very dirty. After bringing this to the reception staff it was cleaned with a bleach/mould solution - but for some very strange reason only the immediate shower area around the seating and drainage was cleaned. The rest of the floor was still dirty. Cooked breakfast next door in Brewers Fayre was always lukewarm. Evening meal very basic and again lukewarm. Lots and lots of disabled parking spaces were available but remember to add your car registration on the screen when entering either the pub or hotel.

Pleasant stay with my family for one night. Staff were very welcoming and check in was easy. Bed was comfy, breakfast was great as it was cooked fresh. Location was convenient, walking distance to Braintree Freeport, with shops, restaurants & cinema which was handy. Will stay again on our next visit.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just had to after my amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were incredible, going out of their way to help me when had issues getting checked in early to get to a wedding on time! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed here on a business trip recently and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel definitely needs updating but the staff were fantastic and the breakfast was amazing! I will definitely return on my next work trip in the area. What a lovely hotel
