3 nights in Bowmore
What a beautiful guesthouse! The hosts were very friendly and were of great assistance to me in arranging transportation while I was in the area doing some distillery tours. The breakfasts were excellent and the accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

Brilliant B&B
Andrew and Alison were extremely welcoming. Their B&B is an absolute credit to them and they could not do enough to make a weary biker feel at home.
The location is ideal for exploring Islay and the fantastic Bowmore Distillery.
The breakfast is one of the best breakfast's I've ever had (bacon, Lorne sausage and haggis roll). Cooked perfectly.
Look no further, you've found the B&B you were looking for!

Highly recommend The Bowmore House
We had a lovely stay at The Bowmore House. Very comfortable and clean. Our hosts were extremely helpful in giving us advice about the island. The breakfast was really good and the rooms very clean.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation. Also, Bowmore is very central to the rest of the island.

Stayed there with Family the beginning of October. They gave us the Suite, which helped us entertain our father. Andrew and Alison were wonderful hosts. A daily dram of Bowmore, certainly helped. Breakfast was fantastic, a full spread severed family style. We shared the B&B with another family that was traveling with us on the Scottish Routes tour. While our families didn't know each other, the atmosphere Andrew and Alison presented ensured we got along perfectly. They also have some very good deals on various bottles of Whisky, if that's your pleasure.

We stayed at Bowmore House for three nights in 02 Sep ‘24 on a Scottish Routes Whisky tour. The facilities were well appointed and very clean, the welcome and attentiveness of mine hosts Andrew and his lovely wife was outstanding and his useful tips appreciated. The location is walking distance to most places in the town be sure to however to make advance reservations for dinner in the town. Breakfast in the common room was outstanding and a great way to start the day.

We stayed at The Bowmore House as part of the Scottish Routes 4 day Islay tour. The hosts Andrew and Alison were tremendous. Andrew was most entertaining with his island and whisky knowledge and his sharp wit. The rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. A special thanks also to Andrew for looking out for my 82yo father. It was much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend this place if you're visiting Islay.

Best Bed and Breakfast in Scotland and its not even close. You are treated amazingly well, set up with beautiful accommodation in the most picturesque location. The owners are such a lovely couple who love what they do. Awesome collection of Whiskey which is generously shared.
