Coombe House B and B is beautifully appointed and perfectly situated in a quiet location just a short stroll from Bourton on the Water.
David was the perfect host, welcoming us on arrival with tea and cake. He clearly enjoys chatting with his guests, making us feel at home straight away. His local knowledge was very helpful along with making sure that we had everything we needed during our stay.
Our en suite room was very well equipped with many thoughtful touches.Everything we could have wished for.
Breakfast was very well organised with everything freshly cooked to order and beautifully presented. Even fresh flowers on the table. Plenty of choice with quality ingredients - what more could you ask for.
Thank you David for your hospitality and humour.

Fabulous place to stay very clean and beautiful room only a short walk on to high street. Great choice of breakfast. David the host was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Very enjoyable stay.

A friend recommended this lovely hotel to us and it did not disappoint. The hotel was set in beautiful gardens and a short stroll into Bourton. David the owner was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. There was ample safe parking. We would not hesitate to stay at Coombe House again.

Had the most fabulous stay at Coombe House in the beautiful Cotswolds. From the moment we arrived David was the most welcoming and informative host. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and it was lovely sharing tales of our adventures with fellow guests from around the world. The rooms are very cosy with great amenities. A short walk into the beautiful town of Bourton on the Water makes it very easy to explore the village. David was amazing with his knowledge of the local area, suggesting local sights and villages to visit, providing maps and directions. Thanks David for a wonderful stay at Coombe House.

Our three night stay at Coombe House was wonderful in every respect. The host David was both professional and welcoming as he took care to look after us very well. His knowledge of the local areas and how to spend a day of sightseeing were much appreciated. Coombe House is a very attractive building and it is tastefully furnished. The breakfast room is especially lovely with its views out across the extensive garden. The breakfast menu offered delicious choices. All is well maintained and very clean. The B&B is a short walk into Bourton on the Water where we enjoyed going into all the different shops and trying different restaurants. I highly recommend a stay at Coombe House.

Five years after our first visit it was a pleasure to return to Coombe House and see David again. Five years? Doesn't seem like five minutes. How the time flies! We had a brilliant catch up and swapped stories from the last few years. I had a heavy heart when leaving after a two night stay. As in 2019, the service he offers, the ambience of the house, location to Bourton are unrivalled. Little has changed and if you want more detail, you can refer to my review from February 2019 which goes into much more depth and offers all the details you need. But what is for certain is that despite David running the B&B on his own now (not my place to explain why) he still does a first-class job and offers accommodation that has few peers. If you are looking for accommodation in Bourton on the Water...stop looking. You needn't search any more. I simply cannot recommend Coombe House enough. Book now. I promise you, you won't be disappointed.

We have just recently had our second stay at this wonderful place. It’s spotless, has rear parking, fabulous breakfast, central to everything and has the best host imaginable. David makes you feel so welcome as soon as you park your car he is there waiting for you. Thank you David once again for another fabulous stay. Hope to see you again next year. Karen and Jamie x

IS THERE AN INFINITY STAR RATING???!!! The perfect stay!!! We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed every second. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host, David, who we immediately felt at home with. We were spoiled with coffee, cake, and good conversation prior to getting settled in our rooms. (David was also the bellhop that totes our luggage upstairs) The rooms were very clean, comfy, and cozy. If anything was wanted, had we even needed anything, it would have been provided. Breakfast was both, entertaining and delicious!!! Can definitely understand why we were not able to stay another night (a last min request-but do not let that deter you from asking!)--- because it is a popular destination!!!
