Bamboo Guesthouse

First time stay at Bamboo guesthouse and will have no qualms in staying again. Spoke to Mo who is lovely, really friendly and personable to book and was nice and easy, definitely get a better rate booking direct and not using booking sites. Received email the day before with information on how to gain access when unmanned which was easy. Our room was room 5 (roses) and whilst on the cosy side it had absolutely everything you need for a short stay. Room was comfortable, clean and tidy, en-suite was spot on too. Towels were fluffy and soft, I have a feeling they probably do their own laundry onsite. Bed was comfortable and we slept quite well. Breakfast is continental style that you just help yourself too which normally I’m not really a fan of but actually it was not bad, not bad at all. A good selection of cereals, different breads, croissants, pain au chocolates and swirls. Different flavours of jams, chocolate spread and marmite. Fruit juices, milk and oat milk. Coffee cafetière which was a nice touch. All in all a nice relaxing experience and if we are in the area again and need a room would happily book again.

We stayed in the apartment for the weekend. Loved this place! It was beautifully decorated throughout and spotless. Bed was so comfortable and lovely crisp linen made it feel luxurious. Mo the owner was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, guiding us to a fab Mexican restaurant just round the corner. Will definately book there again. One thing to mention, the steps are quite steep down to apartment so take care but the quality of the place makes it worth it. It also has a little outside courtyard which we used .

Lovely B&B, situated close to all the amenities. Mo was super helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Room was lovely and modern, very clean and the bed was really comfy, and it was a quiet area. Breakfast was continental, which we've not had before, but we really enjoyed it, plenty to choose from. We managed to park outside, but there are also lots of car parks around which are approximately a 5-10 minute walk to the B&B. All in all, a lovely B&B, would definitely recommend.

Lovely place to stay,room was clean and tidy, breakfast was great lots to choose from ,we managed to get a parking place near the guest house but car park is only couple of minutes away if you cannot park near ,we will be going again,situated about 10 minute walk to the beach and amenities

Nice welcome from Mo, managed to park on the street outside which was a bonus. We stayed in room 1 on the top floor, clean and tidy with ensuite, tea making facilities, use of iron/ironing board. Help yourself breakfast with cereals, bread, jams, yogurts, fruit, juice, pastries, couldn't have asked for more. Requested a few extra pillows which Mo dropped in for us with a box of chocolates for my partner's birthday, which was really thoughtful, thank you 😊 would definitely stay again.

Friends of mine stayed there for their honeymoon and I rang up and spoke to Mo to see if he could arrange some chocolates and wine as surprise for them. I said I would call back later to pay for them but Mo called me to say that he had already done it, when I asked how much did I owe him. he said it was on him, despite me protesting I wanted to pay. A lovely, thoughtful gesture and rarity in this day and age were hotels make you pay for wifi and airconditioning. Thanks, Mo for being a decent and generous human being!

Just back from Bamboo after 2 night visit.We felt a little underwhelmed by the whole visit.Room very small and possibly the most uncomfortable bed we've ever experienced. Breakfast is a do it yourself affair with limited choice and clear your own table.Only saw any staff upon arrival then he became a kind of self catering affair rather than a B&B.Location ok for town centre BUT..if you are slightly less mobile then it's a definite NO.Wouldnt return,wouldn't recommend, average at best.

We had a brilliant wecombe very clean room done side I am a diabetic so could only eat the cheese and brown bread for breakfast also coffee selection not that strong so went out everything for coffee and cheese snd ham for the contents breakfast but a wonderful location easy reach of restaurants and beach could do with water in room also a fridge as my wife has yo have a inhaler so needs fridge to keep it cool but a wonderful place

The room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was great everything was there and the place was so need to Bournemouth and the manager was so friendly and polite and if you want anything, he was always there I definitely be back next year and the price was great for
