The girl on reception was very friendly it was tricia supervisor we had booked an uber it never turned up she was phoning them no joy so tricia got us another taxi it was with us in 5 mins so helpful and friendly she went out of her way to help so grateful to her great service

I have stayed twice in the last two months for a morning flight as it is only a 10 minute drive from Bournemouth airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Juan from the reception desk was welcoming, helped me find out where I could get food as it was quite late, asked if I needed an alarm call in the morning (early flight) and spoke Spanish, which is my first language. The room was tidy and clean and had tea and coffee. It is good value for money for a budget hotel and would recommend it to anyone using it as a stop before a flight from Bournemouth airport.

Basic but adequate for a couple of nights. Fortunately there is a garage next door with Budgens supermarket and a Burger King as the Toby Carvery was only accepting bookings which I found odd for a Tuesday. The location was a mixed bag, very easy to find and just off the main road. However, right next to the hospital so be prepared for sirens at all times. With the windows closed this was not an issue. My room was on the top floor and there is no lift. It could have done with a refresh as there were a lot of marks on the walls. There is also no air con, but a fan was provided. My biggest concern was no plug sockets by the bed, only usb ports. That's fine if you just want to charge your phone, but I have medical equipment I needed to plug in. I went to ask for an extension lead, which after a phone call to someone not on duty and questions as to why I needed it, one was located for me. The only plug sockets were the other side of the room so I had to be careful of the trip hazard this created. Neither the fan or extension lead were PAT tested and the kettle was due its PAT. The bathroom had no window (due to location) and no extraction, consequently it steamed up a lot and became quite smelly. Cleaning is not done during your visit, though you can request clean towels. I don't mind this, but then they should at least provide a toilet brush. No glasses in the bathroom, so I used the coffee mug and only a dispenser with soap by the sink and one in the shower with combined shower gel/shampoo. The shower itself was of a good temperature and okay pressure. The bed was comfy with good pillows and bedding. With the window closed to block the noise and the fan directly on me I did sleep well. It was okay for a single person for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't want to stay with my family or for any longer.

We have to say this is the best travel lodge we have ever stayed in. The decor was really luxurious and the room was spacious.. Very comfortable beds and a great size bathroom..

The service was exceptional and Juan and trisha were very warm, friendly and incredibly helpful. They make a great team! Highly recommend! The location is ideal if you wish to explore Bournemouth the beds are amazing and the staff do everything to accommodate you.
