Résidence Pierre & Vacances Premium Arc 1950 le Village

Si vous cherchez du calme après une journée de ski, passez votre chemin ! ARC 1950 subit une très forte pollution sonore : le niveau sonore des animations extérieures est excessif ! Beaucoup de résidents subissent ces nuisances. Les animations quasiment tous les soirs ne font pas dans la demi-mesure côté décibels et se prolongent tard le soir, rendant le repos difficile. Le calme fait partie du caractère des zones de montagne. Les activités musicales, culturelles ou festives peuvent tout à fait avoir leur place mais elles doivent pouvoir être organisées dans des lieux adaptés, à une fréquence raisonnable et avec un niveau sonore respectueux de tous. C’est regrettable, car avec sa vue imprenable sur le Mont-Blanc, le cadre pourrait être des plus agréables. CONSEIL pour ceux qui souhaitent profiter pleinement de la montagne et de sa tranquillité, choisissez une autre résidence et n’allez pas à Arc 1950 !

Deuxième séjour pour nous au Manoir de Savoie : toujours aussi agréable !! Appart au top, pratique et joliment décoré. Le village est très pratique : on y trouve tout a qqs métrées à pieds. Ski aux pieds, couds de ski à qqs mètres, bonne boulangerie, supermarché bien achalandé…. Nous reviendrons certainement

We verbleven in een twee kamer appartement van Hameau des Cascades met uitzicht op Arcs 2000. Het appartement was mooi en goed ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Badkamertje met ligbad en wastafel, een apart toilet en slaapkamer met twee heerlijke ruime eenpersoonsbedden. Het appartement is voor twee personen prima, al had hier en daar 20cm meer, het ook ruim gemaakt. De ski lockers zijn echt op elkaar gepropt en er is nauwelijks ruimte om je schoenen aan te trekken, dit is echt een misser in het ontwerp. Maar ja, als je de schoenen aan hebt, sta je wel met 10 stappen op de piste! En hetzelfde geldt voor de terugweg. De auto parkeer je onder het appartement in de garage (wel reserveren, anders moet je parkeren in Arcs 1600), de bakker is aan de overkant en de supermarkt links er naarst. De receptie is overigens ook aan de overkant in Prince des Cimes. Een prima plek dus. Arcs 1950 heeft door zijn hoge Disney gehalte wel iets gezelligs en bijna iets authentieks terwijl het pas in 2003 gebouwd is.

We stayed in Prince des Cimes apartments and were very comfortable. Firstly the situation was excellent being a few hundred yards to the Cabriolet lift up to Arc 2000, opposite the supermarket and with a bakery next door. We had wonderful snow conditions and you could ski to the door. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable. We had a one bedroomed one and it would have been cramped with four people. However we had five in our party and next door apartments and so were able to leave the sofa bed up the entire time and use the other apartment for cooking, eating and relaxing. We were on the first floor, overlooking the front door, very near the lift and opposite the recycling room so never had to walk far. The swimming pool and sauna were on the same floor and towelling robes and slippers were provided. I had a swim most days and it was very quiet. Sleep quality was good - very quiet. A downside was a safety issue with the balcony and access was locked. However we had a small refund and I doubt we would have used it anyway. I am sure it will be safe by the summer where you would want to use it. Staff were very helpful. There was a real fire in the lounge. Access to the ski room was very easy.

Recommend staying here Great stay. Room well equipped with everything we needed. Ski in ski out worked well. We couldn’t get the wifi code to work all week so gave up. We did ask at reception for them to look at it which they did but it still didn’t work. Pool and hot tub great feature though could have been warmer! And perhaps slightly larger as a bit crowded especially at the end of the day. Building could have done with a lick of paint in places but general standard was still very high and was very impressed. Bins, linen and towels changed on multiple occasions. On arrival, the bed and carpet could have been a bit cleaner which let it down slightly. Floors a bit thin but despite being right next to the main door it wasn’t too loud and slept well. Shop nearby good pricing given location. Underground parking very convenient though tight if you have a big car.

I recently stayed a week in Le Manoir Savoie with my daughter. We had a two-bedroom two-bathroom apartment and it was perfect for us. The apartment was warm and comfortable and the right size for us, even though it is advertised for six. Even with only two our stuff spread out and it was a jigsaw cooking in the tiny kitchen. Two couples or a family would find the space challenging - nowhere even to put cases if you don't arrive by car, and nowhere to hang wet ski clothes to dry. Six people would get to know each other extremely well. I don't know if it was a mistake but P&V had left extra towels in the bathroom so we didn't go the week using the same towel. The apartment and the entire building needs a spruce up - painting, minor repairs, new carpets etc. The upholstery on one chair was splitting at a seem in our lounge room and a bedroom had a loose power point. Do not expect 5-star hotel quality of furnishing and fittings. Arc1950 is absolutely ski-in ski-out, even though some of the closest lifts didn't open to 9:15 am - not P&V's fault. The ski locker room would be crowded with nowhere to put on boots if the place was busy. Arc1950 is definitely picturesque even though the gaudy snack bar signage spoils some photos. By the end of the week the artificiality was wearing on me. We found that the menus on all the restaurants seemed pretty much the same so only ate out twice in the week. Overall I'm glad we stayed here, but partially due to Les Arcs as a resort and partially due to Arc1950 I doubt we will return.
