I stayed in the queen room with a bathroom in the room, and honestly, I wouldn’t book this option again. The room is much smaller than the ones without a bathroom — no desk, no chair, and barely enough space to fully open a mid-sized suitcase. And weirdly, it’s more expensive.
While the room itself is clean and the staff are lovely (no complaints there), the bathroom setup really wasn’t it for me. There’s no ventilation, so once you shower, the whole bathroom gets steamy and wet — and since there’s no shower separation, everything including the toilet gets soaked. Speaking of the toilet… it doesn’t have a lid, so every flush sprays out into the open air, which is kind of gross, especially in such a small, damp space. Also, there’s nowhere to put your clothes or towel while showering — no hooks, no shelf, nothing.
Unless having an ensuite is non-negotiable for you, I’d recommend booking a room without a bathroom. You’ll get more space for less money, and if you don’t mind using the shared facilities down the hall, it’s probably a better deal overall.
