Hotel Isla Verde

Fantastic. Beautiful grounds, nice spacious cabin with small kitchenette. Great restaurant on site for breakfast. Good location in Boquete. Staff was helpful.

We spent three nights at Isla Verde in Mariposa, an upper suite. It was beautiful, and so hard to leave when our stay was over. The suite itself was great, kind of like a big studio apartment with windows everywhere. There was a small kitchen with a fridge, an oven, and a coffee maker, and a nice dining table to sit at. The bathroom was pristine. The bed was comfortable. There was a fan but no AC, but it got very cool at night and we didn't even need the fan. We had a porch in the front of the suite and a beautiful balcony off the back that overlooked the gardens and the little river that goes through the property. We spent hours on the balcony with a cool drink, just listening to the river, enjoying the gardens, and watching the birds. What is amazing is that Isla Verde is very close to town (only a couple of blocks to the main drag) but you would never know it. The river blocks any street noise, which is minimal in Boquete anyway. The staff were great, and Sabine was very helpful and friendly. We had a hard time figuring out how to book our domestic flights online, so she booked them for us (even though we asked her very last-minute!) at no charge. She also gave us some good directions and information on things to do in the area. We never had breakfast at Isla Verde, so I can't comment on that. We ate at Cafe Punto de Encuentro, which was great. Boquete is great and I highly recommend Isla Verde!

We stayed only one night at Isla Verde on our way from Bocas to Panama City. Great little cabin we had, 'Tobago', with 2 single beds in the loft and a matrimonio (queen) on the ground floor. Everything is so well taken care of, every little detail is thought of - you can see that a lot of love goes into these cabins. We had an awesome breakfast at Isla Verde too - albeit that virtually every item on the menu had changed, and the lady was trying to tell us all that in the early hours before I had my coffee.... For example, they were now charging $1 extra for the (awesome!) French bread if you wanted it with syrup (because it's agave syrup now, and they are no longer serving the normal syrup - etc). Isla Verde is a great place - it's peaceful & employs pleasant people!

A great hotel in Boquete Panama that should be on everyone's radar. It is called Isla Verde. The place is owned by a German couple and they have done a wonderful job making a safe and beautiful place to visit. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the main street in Boquete. The grounds are a beautiful Tropical Paradise with a small creek running through the property. The Roundhouses are very nice and well equipped for a couple or a small group of friends at very reasonable prices. Each roundhouse has a kitchenette, private bath, loft and main floor. TV with cable is in each room as well. The rooms are very private and have thier own entrances. You can opt for breakfast in the morning but this was the weak part of thier operation and we would recomend the coffee bar around the corner. There are two dogs that live here that love to play fetch with the oranges that fall from the trees. They will give you a good laugh for sure and are well cared for. This property is an oasis in the middle of the Boquete town. Walkable and centric. The property is beautiful and the cabanas are little homes away from home, equipped with everything you need to stay as long as you want.

Best of Boquete Clean, new and very well maintained property. Great location to walk to restaurants and attractions in Boquete.
