The Hilltop Boosa

Wir waren als Familie mit unserem 6-jährigen Sohn zu Gast bei Peter und Ravi. Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub mitten im Paradies. Der Flughafentransfer wurde von den Inhabern organisiert und wir wurden vom Flughafen abgeholt. Von Colombo fährt man ca. 1,5 Stunden nach Boosa. Auch der Rücktransfer zum Flughafen wurde optimal geplant und für uns organisiert. Die Appartements sind voll klimatisiert und an deutschem Niveau gemessen mit einem 4 Sterne Zimmer vergleichbar. Es ist absolut sauber, die Betten sind sehr bequem und mit 2,20 Metern auch sehr lang und das Bad mit Dusche ist überdurchschnittlich geräumig. Wir hatten das Poolhaus, welches auf dem Foto abgebildet ist und ein Appartement im Haupthaus. Die beiden Inhaber geben tolle Tipps für Ausflüge, organisieren alles und begleiten auch auf Wunsch. Wir haben viele Trips unternommen (Whalewatching, Eisenbahn-Trip zu den Teeplantagen, Safari-Tour, Elefanten füttern, Strandausflüge etc.), die alle von Peter und Ravi nach unseren Wünschen geplant und bestens organisiert wurden. Das Essen war einfach großartig. Man kann wählen, ob man sich überraschen lassen möchte, oder ob man Wünsche Äußert ( z.B. Langusten). Wir haben beide Möglichkeiten genutzt und es war unglaublich lecker. Ravi ist ein unglaublich guter Koch! Morgens haben wir das lokale Frühstück, bestehend aus frischem Ost und Tee gewählt und waren restlos begeistert. Der Pool ist eine tolle Erfrischung und der Blick vom hinteren Teil des Pools geht direkt in den Dschungel. Einfach atemberaubend schön. Das gesamte Grundstück ist mit viel liebe zum Detail hergerichtet und man merkt, dass die beiden Inhaber mit Herzblut dabei sind. Auch das Team der Angestellten sind unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Es wird alles dafür getan, dass man einen unvergesslich schönen Urlaub hat. Wir waren jetzt zum dritten mal dort und werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

I have just spent the last 3 weeks at the Hilltop Boosa which had been recommended to me by a friend who had stayed there in 2020 before Covid. This hilltop paradise came up to all my expectations. The rooms are very large and well-appointed with comfortable king-size, beds and a large bathroom plus A/C.The whole property is very clean and kept up to a very high standard. All the food that Ravi cooked was fresh, excellent, and well-presented in the outside dining area which just added abeyance to the dining experience. Our rail trip up-country was well organized, we come back by road and stopped off at a tea factory, the highest waterfall, and a rock temple. We took quite a few day trips which had all been arranged by the staff. The owners have 2 well-trained guard dogs which did not disturb us at all. I can defiantly recommend Hilltop Boosa and will come back again in the near future.

We again stayed at Hilltop Boosa after 5-years absence because of Covid etc. We found that the service and cleanliness were still of the highest standards. Ravi's fresh food cooking and presentation was again excellent. The owner's enfusiasume to entertain his guest, organize trips and look after the well-being of his guest is still as good as ever. Back after the Corona period at The Hilltop Boossa! In Sri Lanka for some meetings and trainings and during my free time relaxing time at The Hilltop, most Hotels rundown their maintenance during Corona, but I was surprised at the Hilltop everything was maintained and they even improved more, since my last visit! The food is outstanding I enjoyed the fresh breakfast and seafood dinners! Next time I want to stay longer at this paradise!

From my parents ... the like it so much ;) Sri Lankan Holidy. My daughter had asked my husband and me to come to Sri Lanka from Austria and visit them. They had booked at Hilltopboosa for 42 days , through ***********. This is the most fantastic guest house I have ever stayed at. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-appointed and the king-size beds are a delight. The 5-acre property on top of a hill is just a tranquil paradise in a coconut plantation. Ravi cooked us meals that were just outstanding and served in a delightful setting. Peter the owner, arranged and accompanied us on a train trip to Haputale in the tea county, swam under the highest waterfall. Camped overnight in Udawalaw national park. The camping experience we will never forget, swimming in the river and looking up at the stars. The tents were basic but clean and more than enough for a night's stay. The diner and breakfast were just amazing and all the staff so friendly. We had time to ride an elephant near Pinnawala and see all the elephants taking a bath in the river. Ravi and Peter thank you so much for the holiday of a lifetime. We will be BACK !! Barbara & Eddy
