Cosmos Bungalows

Overall a great two night stay at Cosmos with a few buts: Cold water only from the shower Water from shower smelled foul No air con (but we already knew that) We never actually managed to connect to the WiFi Blackout from 6:30-9:30pm one evening - not their fault but apparently it happens quite often and it can get very hot in the bungalows without the fan on; no candle or torch provided and my iPhone was too hot for the torch to be used! Grilled fish for dinner wasn’t too great - very bony river fish with very little meat - but maybe we just chose badly However the bungalow was comfortable and well priced, the staff were nice, the beachside setting sublime and nothing can be a nice cold Bintang whilst watching the sunset.

Ensemble de 7 bungalows situé entre la route et la plage les uns derrière les autres et mieux vaut être dans les premiers au plus près de la mer et la vue Les + : - Grand bungalow familial avec terrasse à l'étage - SDB grande et fonctionnelle - Repas pris sur la terrasse face à la mer - Petit déjeuner agréable - Service des jeunes filles très agréable Les - : - Anglais parlé juste alimentaire - Bruit des karaoké à proximité - Bruyant aussi à proximité de l'entrée à cause d'un banc et de maisons en face ou l'ion parle écoute le téléphone tard en soirée Si vous réservez dans les 3 bungalows les plus proches de la mer vous aurez une certaine tranquillité ..... quant aux autres ce sera bruit et toujours bruit ! Malgré le joli cadre et le bon rapport qualité / prix la note 2 / 5 pour les désagréments est réaliste

Le temps passé sur la route depuis Makassar en vaut la peine. Les bungalows sont face à l’océan avec une terrasse couverte et hamac. L’atmosphère est relaxante, les bungalows sont bien équipés (mais pas d’eau chaude). Le petit déjeuner est copieux.

Beautiful, spacious bungalow which came with a cute little attic room - I enjoyed the space for meditation and for working! The room was clean and comfortable and it came with a fun half open bathroom. Good powerful fans and nice interior design. The staff were friendly and the owner very helpful in our communications via WhatsApp. There is an on-site restaurant that serves a small selection of local food. The included breakfast was also pretty good with the choice of eggs & toast, pancake or nasi goreng. It would have been nice to have some filtered water, hot water, coffee & tea available as self service as is common in Indonesia, but these were available to purchase at the restaurant after 7am so it was not a big issue. The location is a little far from the village so you will ideally need a moped to get around (the water was pretty high during our stay so walking on the beach wasn’t possible). Thankfully one of the staff members was helpful enough to take me on their bike when I needed something from the shop urgently! The sea view from the restaurant is beautiful. There are steep steps leading to the water from the restaurant. The sea was choppy at the time of our visit but we managed to snorkel a little at the reef which was about 100 metres away - water was clear and the corals looked pretty healthy with some decent fish life around. Need to be safe and look out for the boats however as there is some traffic here! Overall we had a great experience staying here. Thank you!

Nous avions le bungalow 4 : double + mezzanine pour notre ado (1 semaine) Très bonne option pour notre ado! La mezzanine fait un peu cabane (accès bas de plafond...) mais c'est justement son charme et cela permet de séparer un espace pour une troisième personne. Parfait pour nous. Bungalow simple mais très bien décoré, ventilo et moustiquaires. Propre (ménage fait régulièrement) et eau en bouteille fournie tous les jours. Grande et belle terrasse. Matelas un peu trop ferme pour nous (ressorts). On a du ajouter un matelas en mousse dessus. Personnel adorable et aux petits soins. Ambiance indonésienne et cool. La clientèle est principalement indonésienne et l'hôtel se remplit surtout le weekend. Calme même le weekend où tous les bungalows étaient occupés (surtout familles) Le petit déjeuner est un peu juste : pancake ou omelette ou fried rice et thé ou café. Ça nous a suffit mais cela demanderait peut être un petit complément : fruits? jus de fruit? oeufs sur la plat? Superbe terrasse vue sur la mer et la superbe plage de Bira! Meilleure terrasse de Bira! Très bien placé. La proprietaire nous a donné les coordonnées d'un chaffeur de taxi. On a pu organiser notre transfert depuis l'aéroport de Makassar. Très bien et très pratique. No stress.

Very tropical bungalow and feel like we stayed in the woods especially when it was raining.. the linen was itchy and there was a centipede in the bathroom.. they ran out of beer and restaurant didn’t offer much on breakfast but they have beautiful view
