"We had a pleasant stay at Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for families with kids. Our children absolutely loved the swimming pools and spent most of their time there, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. There are just a couple of areas that could be improved. The cleanliness of the room could be better, as we noticed a few details that needed more attention. The TV in the room also felt a bit small compared to the room size and could be upgraded for a more comfortable viewing experience. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider coming back, especially because the kids had such a wonderful time."

The buggy cars were readily available to take us around the resort's facilities. The service was friendly and fast. Breakfast was complete and delicious. Highly recommended for families with children, as the playground is also great and spacious... this might be one of the best playgrounds I've seen at any hotel/resort."

"It seems that the 5-star status of the hotel is questionable due to the following issues: Check-in took approximately 1 hour, with only 2 customer service representatives working while 2 other desks were empty during check-in time. The lobby/check-in waiting area was crowded with other guests, luggage scattered around, and children running around, making the lobby feel like a playground. Welcome drink glasses were left scattered everywhere, with no staff ensuring the area was clean and tidy. I stayed in room 441, which did not feel like a 5-star hotel room. Despite the old design that should look luxurious, it felt more like a 3-star hotel room. There were many ants on the table, bed, and in the bathroom. An unpleasant odor persisted throughout my 2-day stay. Toiletries were only provided upon request, such as the missing bath mat. There were visible stains on the sofa in the room. etc..."

Pros: - The resort's view and location are excellent. - Received a coffee break voucher and a discount for dinner at Ramela restaurant. - Friendly staff. Cons: - There was an unpleasant smell in the room's bathroom. - Breakfast for children is charged based on height: > 90cm pays 65,000 IDR, > 120cm pays 110,000 IDR. However, the children's menu only consists of cereal, bread, and omelets. - Limited breakfast menu with standard taste. - There was a lot of construction and renovation happening, which was quite disruptive. - The adult swimming pool was under renovation and unusable at the time, and the children's pool water was not warm. - Rooms do not have air conditioning, except for the Family Cabin type. - The weekend price is quite overpriced compared to the facilities and the issues mentioned above."

We were able to check in early at around 1 PM since the room was already available, and the process was quick. The first impression was great—the hotel and garden are very clean and well-maintained. Service is definitely one of the highlights of this hotel. All staff were very friendly, from the security to the reception team. The restaurant service was also excellent—Mr. Haerudin was very friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience more enjoyable. The location is comfortable with a beautiful mountain view. The weather is typical of Puncak—warm during the day, rainy in the afternoon, and cool in the morning. The Mini Studio C20 room was clean and comfortable, equipped with AC, hot water, a refrigerator, and free WiFi. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to rest well. The parking area is spacious and very convenient, as you can park directly in front of the cottage. For breakfast, it is not buffet during weekdays. However, the meal was still satisfying—the fried rice was delicious, and it came with fruit, bread, and juice. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would definitely consider coming back again."
