Best hotel ever - commanding position elevated between mountain and sea - walks on doorstep … views from everywhere. Clean , fresh, light and welcoming. Staff lovely , meals exceptional- facilities as advertised. Can remember Wilson and Carlos who made us feel special- but so did they all

A fantastic hotel with a magnificent view of Bodø city and peninsula. Our room was large and had a very comfortable bed. We had a three course menu at the hotel restaurant which was very good and the breakfast buffet also had a wide selection of food that was very tasty. I must say that our absolute best experience was the relax area with outdoor heated rooftop pool and sauna. We ould love to go back to Wood Hotel and I would recommend it to anyone!

Es ist toll, auch wenn im Spa Bereich einiges verbessern kann. Mega Ambiente, tolle Zimmer und die Aussicht bei Nacht im Pool(Achtung sehr glatt im Winter) incl. Polarlichter ist mega. Das Frühstück lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig.

First assigned a room that hadn’t been cleaned, then moved to a room that wasn’t heated. Here, you have to find the buttons on the heater yourself if you don’t want to sit inside wearing your winter jacket! I thought this wouldn’t be a problem since the booking site was overflowing with superlatives about the luxurious outdoor pool / spa area. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, but no information about this was given—neither in the booking, at the reception, nor at the bar where I asked the staff about the facility. (It had to be booked in advance, which I did—there was still no information about a closed pool.) I recommend visiting the bar/restaurant with a view—that was perhaps the best part of the entire stay. Fortunately, you don’t need to stay at the hotel to use this service. That’s probably the only thing at this hotel I would consider experiencing again.

Amazing hotel Truly great stay at Wood Hotel. The room was super clean and spacious. Comfy chairs and comfy bed. The bathroom was good and had everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful and service was excellent. But the star of the show was definitely the buffet breakfast. It was huge and there was something for everyone. Breakfast is on the 7th floor and is set out in a lovely spacious dining area. The hotel is set at the top of a hill, a little out from the main town (maybe 7-8 mins by car), so not far. We ate our breakfast and took in the view at the same time - you get a great view over the sea, airport and town below. We really hope to stay again sometime soon.
