Hotel Residenz

The hotel is situated in the center, the mall is nearby and that' s the best thing I can say. The junior suite is quite expensive, rather small and has a odd and impractical shape. There is only one decent chair in a double room and worst of all: there's no airco. The room temperature rose to a tropical level and opening the patio doors means letting in the mosquitos and the noise from a rather busy road. The kingsize bed is actually consisting of two single mattresses which are way too soft. You have to pay extra for parking on the private parking lot. The owner does the checking out and he doesn't even ask how your stay was. Pay up and leave please ...

Arrogant, unfreundlich und unkulant. Trotz offensichtlichem technischen Fehler bei der Buchung im veralteten System des Hotels wurde Bezahlung verlangt. Weitere Buchung habe ich direkt storniert. Hier geht es offenbar nur ums Kasse machen, nicht um Kundenfreundlichkeit oder Kulanz. Werde hier garantiert nicht mehr übernachten.

(+) I guess it is a good hotel, if you come for business or for personal purpose in Bocholt. Breakfast is good, rooms are spacious and well decorated, safe box, laundry service, big parking, 5 min walk from a supermarket and 5-7 min walk from the railway and bus station. (-) One of my days was not pleasant in the morning, when a lady from morning service asked me not so friendly about my room number and then came to me with a coffee. I said that I have no place so far but she insisted that I have to give her a table, so that she can leave the coffee. It is so inpatient and unprofessional! I never experienced such issues in other hotels. She was just rude. Why could not she wait for me to have a table chosen? When I checked out, I was asked how many nights I stayed and despite of my answer (twice), I was charged for 4 nights instead of 3. I initially wanted to stay 4 nights but well in advance (more than a month), changed my reservation. Why was not it updated in their system? I think that a 4* hotel should not allow such flaws and unprofessional staff behavior.

Hotel carino, camera nella norma, letto con materasso fantastico! Unica nota negativa, con la scusa del COVID se pernotti più notti non vengono a pulire la camera, al massimo ti cambiano gli asciugamani. Ristorante buono, ma la cameriera castana con i capelli lunghi della sera molto scortese e maleducata, invece la colazione buona e ricca e la cameriera bionda molto gentile e premurosa.

Dieses Hotel liegt fussläufig kaum 10 Minuten vom Bahnhof entfernt, etwas südlich der Innenstadt. Beim Checkin musste ich ein paar Minuten warten, die Rezeptionistin half noch in der Küche mit. Dann ging es recht flott, man musste noch handschriftlich ein Formular ausfüllen, das hätte man auch vorab online anbieten können. Zimmer war geräumig und mit schönem Blick in den Garten, es war sehr sauber und gepflegt, alles funktionierte wunderbar. Das Frühstück bietet eine ordentliche Vielfalt, ich hätte mir noch das eine oder andere frische, gesunde an Auswahl gewünscht. So war es ein Standard, der aber gut war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und service orientiert. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Wahl. Hier macht man nichts falsch!

We hebben in dit hotel 2 nachten doorgebracht. De kamer was lekker ruim en netjes. De badkamer is modern en van alle gemakken voorzien zoals zeep en douchecreme. De kamer is goed geïsoleerd zodat er geen geluiden van buitenaf doordringen. Bij het ontbijt merkten wij een groot verschil tussen beide dagen. De t****e dag was de aanvulling iets minder, waarschijnlijk omdat er minder personeel was. De ligging is op slechts enkele minuten lopen van het centrum. Parkeren kan recht voor het hotel (betaald). Wij hebben ons hier prima vermaakt en zouden zo weer boeken.
