Twin Fin Hostels

When we came to check in staff already was unfriendly, when we arrived in our room the room was everything but clean; trash everywhere (coke bottles under the bed, old sigarets, ice bucket next to the bed). When we said something about it we got a very irritated response and the lady only got the trash out, so she didn’t change the dirty sheets or the broken curtain or cleaned the dirty floor. There were people smoking **** in the hallway and the staff were drinking beers everywhere (which was weird because the number 1 rule of the hostel is no alchohol beverages allowed), there were people smoking everywhere around the rooms, also in the shower space, when i came out of the shower one time, the staff was smoking a sigaret there. There was a couple doing the deed in the shower next to me, and not very quiet… One night when we came home one staff member was screaming at us while he was holding a beer, he came in our room while I was changing without knocking or anything, he almost tried to fight my friend when he said something about that. He had a small kid walking around everywhere, also in our room when we were still sleeping in the morning. Then we were with 5 people but we booked the whole dorm of six so we had it to ourselves, one day the staff came to us very brutal and told us that we were not allowed to close the door at all, we thought that was a bit weird because we have our stuff in there and we were with the whole group in the same room. When we said we did not want to give the key he got very mad, looked like he was already drunk again. We were there for a whole week and not one day they came to change sheets or cleaned up the room. Everything in total really ruined our stay in beautiful bocas, I would really NOT reccomend to stay here!!! (They also promised us to give us a part of the money back, they never came back on that. )

Este hostel tiene el peor servicio al cliente y con las peores instalaciones. Llegamos a Bocas del Toro en Semana Santa (temporada muy alta) con una reservación. Decidimos reservar toda una habitación de 4 personas para no compartir con alguien desconocido y poder dejar nuestras cosas en paz. Al llegar la chica busca nuestra reservación y nos dice que es su primer día y que no sabe mucho por lo que llama al manager. Todo bien, nos hacen esperar cerca de una hora y no nos resolvían. Luego al llegar el manager nos dice que ese hotel no tiene habitaciones de 4, solamente de 6 personas y que sí o sí no debíamos cancelar la reservación; llama a alguien más y nos dice que no nos puede solucionar y que nos rebajaría 40USD. (El problema de compartir habitaciones en este hostel es que no cuentan no siquiera con un locker para guardar cosas, tomando en cuenta que teníamos dinero, pasaporte, etc). Finalmente tuvimos que caminar por toda Isla Colón y buscar otro lugar y pagar un precio más alto. (Casi ningún hotel tenía espacio).Al regresar, el tipo no quería cancelar la reservación, sino que debía cancelarla yo y me aseguraba (solo de palabra) que no rebajarían nada de mi tarjeta. Durante nuestra espera, vimos como a una persona le cobraban más de lo que había reservado porque fue un error. Otra chica voluntaria peleaba porque los managers no resolvían las situaciones y los clientes les gritaban. Adicionalmente el lugar es sucio y descuidado. En fin, un lugar que no recomendaría ni a mi peor enemigo
